“The way these sales and purchase agreements work with buyers, is you have a joint venture agreement with some train that’s tied to a sale, so when that train is out, you have forced majority tied to that train, and you don’t have the obligation to substitute it or make up volume from other locations, and that’s how all our agreements are.” H.E. #Qatar's Minister of State for Energy Affairs and QatarEnergy CEO Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi confirmed during a press briefing on Monday that 13 people were killed and 66 injured in the explosion and subsequent fire at the Barzan local gas supply facility in #RasLaffan Industrial City on Sunday evening. Al-Kaabi said the incident was an accident and stressed that there was no evidence of sabotage or any hostile act.
