If a 3-4 year old child draws on the window with a marker, no need to ask them, you know they did it. Dont invite lies by asking useless questions, Take the markers out of their reach and clean up. If a 7 year old does it just hand them the cleaning wipes and say dont do this again.

I like this, I use most of these steps often BUT to say “you’re not in trouble” is dishonest. You definitely are 1) for coloring on the window & 2) for being dishonest. Cleaning off the window is a consequence, no matter how mildly it’s laid out as one and all actions have them.

Bullshit, soft parenting post. Parents are here to TEACH their children, not cater to them. Fuck off with this crap. You are actually raising liars with this ignorant crap.

Foolish advice... Do wrong thing, gets no consequence is not wise parenting. Evil without consequence is not good advice, it's injustice.

@gork what channel is this? Either YouTube or insta?

Wonderful tactic. we use the same in school.

Is this for a child with autism?

Parenting tips

My parents taught me how to lie. They lied and when caught, it was crazy. Never stopped them.

Na ... If someone is lying, child, grownup, dog, it means they do not trust you and are afraid of harm coming to them. In the end: Lying is supposed to save the liar's life.

Parenting

Where do I find this person?

Why even ask if you know who did it? And if you don't know who did it (ie, if they are lying) then this technique doesn't apply. And don't say they won't get in trouble - they sure would! Parenting is training for the real world where you get in trouble for screwing up
