But you're one of the parents who care. The others have ruined it for everyone

A lot have that’s for sure

Wow…how awesome is this mama.

She’s awesome 👏

With all the crap they’re teaching in our schools today, the first thing I would’ve asked him is what is it that you refuse to do! To see if he had a legitimate complaint! He shouldn’t be forced to listen to this LGBTQ crap! He shouldn’t be forced to go to a mosque and participate in Islamic prayers! I’m sure there’s much more they’re doing in school that I don’t know about! Maybe he’s right!

Great but, does the whole world need to know?

I guess she wanted people to know

@Threasa42471308 Absolutely. How can it be an example of great parenting when no one hears it? It's advice that needs to be shared.

@Threasa42471308 I agree that’s why I shared her story!

Children do not belong to the government. Children do not belong to a school. Children do not belong to a teacher

She may end up making him suffer from a lifetime of a condition called as “being respectful”.

If the schools aren’t present day prisons, then parents should be allowed into their children’s classrooms for observation and conference like they used to be! Secondly, what was the assignment? Nowadays, with all the indoctrination going on in schools, I would be more suspicious of the assignment before I correct the child. Thirdly, if this is out of character for the child, what was going on with him? Boys have a tendency to hold things in, like most men do. If all of the above was in order, I’m all in with this mom. I used to make my children do “up and downs,” (run up and down the stairs a certain number of times).

My 11 year old son got in trouble for being a wise guy in class, I sent him with my own note to the teacher snd said "read it"... it had my cell # and a promise if she called me with him being a problem, I would drop what I was doing and be there in a hslf hour, he would apologize in front of the class. I said to him "you know I'm not bluffing, don't you?" "Yeah I know". Never a problem again. He's now a bio engineer has 60 people working for him at a major west coast hospital.

Probably unpopular but I disagree. Unless she saw the assignment and spoke to her kid she has no idea what really happened in that classroom. Trusting a random adult’s account over your own kid is a choice, for sure, but in today’s climate maybe not the best choice.

Two things: let parents back into the classroom, and let children out of the classroom into the playground/gum, where they can go burn off the energy the burpees and the energy your son released are burnt off naturally…

I threatened one of my kids that I would attend high school along side them if they couldn’t get their act together. Worked like a charm- because I’d do it:)

Kind of entitled. You don’t get to disrupt a classroom bc your kid did something disrespectful in class. The teacher handled it in her classroom. You give your consequences at your home.

I can only Imagine the Look of “Oh. SH*T!😳” Come across his face when she asks, “ What do STUPID GAMES GET?” Him:” Stupid Prizes…”(ruh row) Doing Burpees, Jumping Jacks and Arm Rolls until He is “TOO TIRED to Be An As*hole” is Priceless..😂😂😂 When Parent Involvement INCREASES, Crap Behavior can Decrease👊🏽

@JimDaBink I would want to know what the assignment was. Lord knows what the teacher might be asking them to do. Other than that, it’s a travesty that parents don’t have immediate access to the room in which their children are being taught! Go mom!

Every time my kids came home complaining about the teacher, after I heard what happened I always stayed on the teacher’s side. My kids knew that drama at home never worked. My kids are great today at 26, 22 and 16 years old. Education is not negotiable, not in my house. In fact I always said: “about education I’m a dictator”.

I worked at a public school. No Mama Drama is the Classroom. I’m a hard no on this one.

Good for her. I did something similar when I was in junior high school and my mother came and sat in my classroom with me all day.

When I was a kid, and mom and dad threatened to “wear me out”, it wasn’t gonna be with burpees, jumping jacks and arm rolls! 💥💥💥😂 But good job, mom!

She is exactly right. Kid need to understand action have consequences..

Schools have crossed the line into the parents’ spaces. Schools do need to open up n let the parents in.

Good job mom! Thanks for sharing too, bc there are some parents who need an example of how to get their kid’s attention!

Yes

Maybe they assignment was on trans gender. I wouldn't blame him for that. Where's the context?

There isn't enough of this in society. Actions have consequences.

Umm, I don’t remember it EVER being a thing to let parents come into a classroom to deal with discipline issues. Where is she from?

Yikes! She’s got issues

Ironically, she doesn’t realize she just played a stupid game. The stupid prize is coming, “mama bear.”

Woman think they are helping / but all she does is reinforce the indoctrination process / there is a reason why and your “control” over him is not the answer. Another woman getting off on being tough - maybe ask him what’s up first -

Good job priming your child for abuse.

Ok I get it but why would she post it online to then humiliate her kid for attention and a pat on the back as a mom I’m sorry this is gross to me you do it privately not post it .

Did anyone ask the child why he did what he did?

@kellimagamarie Well done, Mama.

The schools won’t let you in the classrooms because how could they indoctrinate secret agendas with a parent in the room? It’s impossible.

They can’t let people back in the classroom because these nuts will go up there shooting the place up

Not a mama bear. She sounds out of control in her anger toward her child (and school employees) and I completely disagree with her punishment (shaking from exhaustion and fear). Child abuse. Treat others as you would want them to treat you. BTW I raised 4 wonderful children and never hit them or caused them physical pain.
