Like sorry if the boss just will stand there doing jack I will attack it

people acting like this is your fault is so funny. its the game's responsibility to make experiementing with different attacks actually worth it or mandatory

It's fine you want to intentionally cheese something, it's funny content. But it's pretty clear what crowd you're trying to draw with the snarky "good gameplay" comment (and it's working lol)

I think this is more of a you problem.

Cause it just seems like you deliberately went out of your way to make the fight look as boring as possible for easy twitter clicks.

Sonic fans are truly stupid; the fact that the boss does nothing is clearly an issue with the game and its gameplay.

@SackyFurryWolf They do. When you hit a combo above 26 hits, which isn't alot, you enter phantom rush and your damage goes up exponentially. Using any of the other skills also do way more damage than the one you just hold a button down for. They are also faster to chain.

@SackyFurryWolf Spamming one attack gives you combo tho There's no reason to use more attacks

@SackyFurryWolf If every enemy was posing in place and didn't move yeah sure i guess. All the enemies attack you which will interrupt the brain dead hold left trigger until enemy dies gimmick.

@SackyFurryWolf The activation of left trigger attack is pretty fast tho I don't see a reason why I couldn't use it again

Every game has some type of boss where you can do something as boring as this to beat it. If you choose to play a game in the most boring and dull way possible just to prove a point then that isn't a problem with the game. You simply chose to go out of your way for a gotcha.

I think boss not moving is a problem with a game

Sonic's problem is that you're ABLE to engage with deep mechanics, but you're never REQUIRED to do so. It took a fangame, in 2024, to teach me that jumps being affected by slopes was intentional design. Nothing in the official games did. I thought it was a glitch for 20+ years.

this reminds me of a guy fighting a giant boar in assassin’s creed odyssey, who had a whole area to battle, but then chose to go to a cave, found a specific point where the boar couldn’t reach him and killed it with arrows and then he complained that the fight was too easy lol

You COULD do that, but combos lets you build up more damage. This is able to work but its not the way its supposed to be played. Plus it looks like you stunned him with something (not sure been a minute)

I don't think combos do more damage Also I didn't do anything to it, Boss just kept ignoring me without a reason

Not more flat damage per say but it helps build phantom rush meter which upgrades all of your moves, plus cyloop attacks deal like 3x damage. As for him just standing there I have no idea, might be a bug cause that's never happened to me 😂

on my first ever playthrough of the game i did this exact thing to knight and it was very funny

Sonic fans are being like "Why are you just standing there using the same move?" and all I can think is "Why is the boss not moving or doing anything about it to actually make the boss harder"

I remember everyone hyping up the bosses when the game came out and I was like huh? I didn’t see any of the cool parry cutscenes my entire first playthrough bc I beat every boss like this

As someone who enjoys this game people are completely missing your point. These bosses as actual bosses beyond hype and aura suck lol. We can stop pretending this game is designed flawlessly

I swear every copy of sonic games are personalized. Cus 1 the boss isnt doing anything so clearly this is a glitch or bug and 2. This has genuinely never happened to me before and ive replayed the game like 10 times and ive also never seen this happen before.

Saying “good gameplay” and actively going out of your way to make it boring isn’t really helping your case
