Good interview that aired on MavsTV CenterCourt last night w/ Lesley McCaslin and Marvin Bagley. Some of it is a bit dated since it references being in Phoenix but it’s a chance to hear from one of the new guys and from my perspective of first interactions w/ him... show more

Trump on Election Last night: I was 28 wins and 1 loss. It was a little bit of a person that I thought was a good person, didn't have much of a chance, but I said, I don't care. I'm doing it anyway, good person, very good, very respected, but nobody knew who the person was,

Some clips from yesterday’s NPC posing clinic at my gym. Was able to snag some footage from one of the guys filming it. Sadly no straight on footage 🥀 Been a little bit since I hit rounds of mandatories like this; humbling to get winded after an hour straight but it was nice to get some feedback from the judges and promoters. 254lbs but big boy still got some decent footwork

lando on the boys trip to langkawi: "someone told me about it. originally i think it was me and carlos and maybe some of the others were going then it ended up just being more and more. but i stayed away, they went to do karting and have a bit of fun and i did my own thing. i kept to myself a little bit. honestly, it's two sides one is just good fun because they're all a good group of people and i enjoy to spend time with them and it's nice to be with people outside of racing and outside of work. but at the same time they're the last people i want to see when i have some days off 😁 so, it was a mix we had some nice dinners and play chess, we did different sports and stuff, we played padel and a bit of golf together. but at the same time, it was nice for me to do my own thing and do a bit of training and be alone for some days."

Converted the attic to a studio over the last few months. Still a work in progress but I got to hear it for the first time last night and it was fun 💪🏻 Song is my end solo from “Firebird”

The horrific attacks on #Israel were not done in a vacuum. #Hamas has support from America's enemies, many of whom live in the US. Please see my mini-documentary from April, 2017. It is a bit dated but still very relevant to today. #SovietIslam #RedGreenAxis #RedGreenAlliance

.Erik Voorhees: It’s actually good, from the Trojan horse perspective, that Bitcoin was traceable enough for traditional institutions to tolerate it. “When Bitcoin came out, everyone called it private, thought of it as private. It was referred to as anonymous in every news story. And in some ways, it is very private and very anonymous. But the truth is that it’s also extremely trackable and traceable. It is not private in reality. And the question is, should it have been from the start? And at first I thought, yes, it should have been more private. And that was a mistake in its design. However, I think if Bitcoin had been anonymous truly from the start, like a Zcash or a Monero, it would have had such antagonism from the state. I don’t know that the state could have snuffed it out, but they would have tried much harder. And I think it’s actually good, from the Trojan horse metaphor perspective, that it was traceable enough that the traditional institutions could tolerate it. They’ve never liked it, but they could at least tolerate it because there is some traceability. And that has allowed Bitcoin to grow. And I think in its shadow, that other crypto assets are actually anonymous is very healthy. The strength of cryptocurrency as a concept in society, I think, is served best when Bitcoin itself is not perfectly private, but other assets are. That is a very difficult thing, I think, for the state to combat. And that decentralization of attributes is really, really crucial. So, yeah, I’m very glad that there are other coins that are private. I want there to be more of them, and I want them to be more popular. And I think it’s okay that Bitcoin itself is not.”

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio: It is in my personal view that we've had probably the most productive and meaningful meeting so far in this entire process since we've been involved in it from the beginning. So I think the takeaway from it is I think this is a very, very meaningful, I would say probably best meeting and day we've had so far in this entire process going back to when we first came into office in January. We have a very good work product that was already built on a foundation of input from all the relative parties involved here, and we were able to go through some of those items now point by point, and I think we've made good progress. And then obviously there's the Russian side of the equation, but again, we think we have some pretty substantial insights over the last nine months into some of the things that are really important to them.

Nicolas Winding Refn on AI: “Having now tried it on something later on that may show here, I really love the creativity. For me, it’s like a brush. And obviously, no one really knows all the implications of what this is going to do and what’s going to happen, but from the perspective of creativity it’s a new invention. And then it’s what you’re going to do with it.”

“Ronnie, he’d sort of say, ‘Play a longer solo. Play this.’ It was good to hear that [...] It was good to be encouraged that way, and we would do that with each other.” One of my many fond memories of performing with Ronnie James Dio in the '80s, taken from a 2023 interview with Music Radar.

Robert Pattinson on Matt Reeves’ ‘THE BATMAN: PART 2’ 🦇 “The script is incredibly dense... [Matt Reeves is] just one of those directors who it’s really obvious that he has the entire thing in his head already... There’s so much in it that it’s almost impossible to encompass the whole thing. It’s so ambitious... the first one was a different take on a Batman movie, and this one is another… It’s a real left turn from the first one, but somehow it keeps elements of the kind of feel of it. But it just feels really ambitious, and I’m excited to see how it turns out.” (via Collider)

The Redux version of “Present Tense” that was in last night’s episode of The Last of Us. It sounds really cool - the first verse is Eddie’s vocal track from the No Code version, laid over a new, acoustic backing track - but then from the first chorus on it’s a new(er) vocal track from Eddie, as he sounds now. Present tense, indeed.

Great perspective from Bears OC Declan Doyle on the offense’s slow start: "The first time you guys didn't anything you weren't quite a master, it takes a little bit of work and progression to get there."

Last night reminded me of the good ole days. This happened in Game 5 of the ‘77 playoffs AND neither guy got ejected. I happen to be at this game w the family…it was my dad’s last MLB game as a player. 🥊

If you wake up from a dream that you didn’t like, use the name of Jesus to cancel it and move on. If it’s a good one, claim it in the name of Jesus and enjoy your life.

Ollie talking about the boys trip to Langkawi with the biggest smile, he mentioned he had fun and it was also a training camp (carlos and team 55 traumatized him on the bike ride) Ollie: “It was a good training camp, to be honest.. in all seriousness, it was very fun, you know, to spend a bit of time with some of the guys outside of the circuit and, you know, that's also quite rare, to be honest, to be able to do that and unlock a kind of new side of all of the people that I was spending time with.” “And I very much enjoyed myself. And it's also nice to have a bit of reset, you know, a few days off in a way. But also I've been training quite hard. I'm sure you're not going to believe me, but I was.”
