Eugene Stoner was wrong about the FA, the powder, and the buffer design and tried his best to keep all those improvements from happening. He isn't the complete genius designer the gun community thinks he is.

I wish foldar would make an upper without a forward assist.

As someone who had one catastrophically fail and completely lock up the rifle, I'm conflicted on it. I see the arguments for it to be there, but I also see the arguments against it.
