This instructor says that when you come to a stop, if you can’t see the tires of the car in front of you then you are too close. Many said they do not leave that much space because it is an invitation for others to cut in front of you. I’m always worried that someone is going to hit me from behind and push me into the car in front of me. Racism is increasing in the UK, and if you ever find yourself in a situation like this, please make sure you record the entire incident if it is safe to do so. Having a recording can make a huge difference when it comes to reporting the situation or protecting yourself. I’m just glad they didn’t take her children away. It’s so important that our people are educated about situations like this and know how to respond when they happen. We also need to understand our rights in the UK so that we can stand up for ourselves and protect our families when necessary. THE BOMBING TOOK EVERYTHING FROM US. 💔 This interview was recorded after our camp was bombed several months ago. We lost our clothes, belongings, and everything we had worked so hard to build. Many other families lost their tents too. A Turkish organization came to the site after the bombing and provided me with financial assistance, which I used to pay for transportation and evacuate to the south. I will always be grateful for their kindness and support. 🤍 But our struggle continues. We are still fighting to afford the most basic necessities. But the ability to dig that dirt and create a bunker, a shelter for our troops, a command point, or an infantry position is what saves lives. With shovels, it takes 8 people working for 3 weeks to build such a position. With an excavator we provided to the Marines of the 38th Brigade, it takes only 3 people and 3 days. These machines are small, often unnoticed even by the soldiers who benefit from them, but they save countless lives.
