There is this obsession on Twitter, amongst South Africans, to constantly humble amaZulu. Why is this?

So Mandela was Zulu? Interesting. He's absolutely right about the leadership. Who ever wrote the caption was drunk

At least Zulus don't have Colonizers surnames like Xhosas and during Bantustans they build their province very well as to compare to that thing

And this nonsense of praising someone who took his people to a meat grinder being labeled the best tactician, whilst there are nations who resisted for over 100 years. If the British praise a leader know there was a bit of selling out...

The last king of the Zulus was Shaka Zulu. The subsequent kings after that diabolical Dingane were installed by the British Empire and have been sustained by them since then. It's a sad thing that a traditional institution is controlled by the foreigners.

None sold anyone out, we were all conquered, scapegoating will never assist anyone. Besides we were never united hence siyizizwe to this day not isizwe. Ngeke ungeyena umZulu usole Inkosi yamaZulu ngokuthi he sold you out, you're not his subject so we're your ancestors

If umholi is chosen by UNkulunkulu for the people you would see how rich the citizens become. However, if chosen by the colonisers you see the majority of the descendants of the colonisers rich not the people.

I must agree with him. I also believe presidents are chosen for nations rather than being genuinely elected by the people. This is one of the reasons there is opposition to President Ibrahim Traore of Burkina Faso. The West would rather put someone in office they can control. A puppet who serves their own interests.

We had soo many chiefs who were rebels and found against colonizers and yet we don't know of...And yet there's one Chief that is still celebrated even today..they even turned his death day into South African Halloween and that Chief is a Zulu Chief....We all know his name!

I could be wrong but I thought all the kings that were defeated by the British were summoned by the Queen to receive instructions , once a person defeats you , you become their subjects and receive instructions from them , unless if my knowledge of our history is distorted
