Here are The Facts 🤙🏽 Thanks for the tag @Motwitty Follow to tag when a post is needing context 🤙🏽 NYPD Officer Shot During Robbery Call in Bronx Apartment Building Williamsbridge, The Bronx — October 9, 2025 Officers responded at 9:16 p.m. to a domestic robbery report on Van Nest Avenue and followed the 18‑year‑old suspect to 1015 E. Gun Hill Rd. Police established a perimeter around the apartment. Moments later, three gunshots were heard inside, and the teen fled the door carrying a loaded firearm. During the struggle, an NYPD sergeant fell and struck his head; another officer then shot the suspect twice — once in the lower back and once in the right arm. The officer is in stable condition after being treated at Jacobi Medical Center, while the suspect remains in critical condition. Authorities said the suspect has a “significant violent criminal history.”
