Idiot alert

Good Morning goes back to earliest records to 1500s Europe. Good Morrow that it derives even earlier. This is a display of typical low IQ leftist rewriting of history and ignorance of spelling English words and difference of two words - Morning and Mourning. Low IQ B.S. for low IQ suckers. I bet she says Axe for Ask and voted for Obama. Easy bet.

The phrase "good morning" originated in Middle English as a polite greeting, essentially wishing someone a pleasant start to the day. It evolved from earlier forms like "good morrow" (where "morrow" derives from Old English "morgen," meaning the next day or dawn), which dates back to the late 14th century.

@DawnsMission

Actually: The phrase โgood morningโ as a polite greeting has a long history in English, dating back to the late Middle Ages. It first appeared in its recognizable form around 1400โ1450, according to sources like the Oxford English Dictionary (OED) and the Online Etymology Dictionary. The OED cites its earliest known evidence from around 1450.

@FarmGirlCarrie

No, it is from the German - Guten Morgen, which literally means Good Morning. It has zero to do with slaves or slave masters. How stupid can you be?

Strange how most black people don't know who their daddy is but claim ancestors from 170 years ago.

@Whiskeypair Have a lovely Sunday.

Everything is racist get over yourself and move forward

@FlagAndFire It's actually hard to believe people are this stupid to believe this. I guess people just make shit up and put it on here to hear themselves talk. Anyone that believes this is such a dumbass

@lakemonstercl1 This is nonsense. Most romantic and germanic languages have this greeting, and have had it for at least a thousand years.

Good morning Carolyn! โ๏ธโค๏ธ

Sorry, no habla ebonics

What fkn BS What you're saying is that it's a White term White language English Problem solved mate, stop speaking English But don't equate certain words like Good Morning with Mourning Morning is before midday Mourning is grieving Two different spellings and two different meanings If you understood English you'd know So stop speaking English and you won't have to get so upset by words

@LynneB8898 Seriously weโre not in the town of slavery so this doesnโt apply just say good morning!

@iris_seraphina This is too stupid to even entertain.

Is that a spider living on her head?

@ErikUnchained That's her mental problem. I say good morning because I genuinely hope that whoever i said it to, has a good morning. That's it. It's just that simple.

Fiction passed on as historical facts.

Etymology is a wonderful thing.

I agree with both on an issue. 1) itโs beneficial to understand our history and how certain terms were used. The other side is she is โwhiteโ and will never understand the Blacks struggle of injustice. No matter how many black or mex kids that they adopt or foster. Not one of them can ever express the emotional pain that we feel when we realize what out ancestors went through whether we knew them or not! Blood is blood

Where the hell do these idiots come from?

Have a great day

OK, so good morning

crawl back on the plantation

Because I dont confuse "Good mourning" with "Good Morning" that's why! They sound the same, but are very different. Read a book!
