Maybe I'm stupid.. But a lot of the stop signs where I live are placed in a way where you cannot see cross-traffic unless you pull into the crosswalk. I always stop behind the crosswalk, then pull up and pray there aren't cars coming so I don't have to stop in the crosswalk lol
