Bob Monkhouse was a genius. I met him a couple of times and he was such a gentleman, he even remembered my name, something he was apparently well known for.

Was only a kid at the time, but what an entertainer Bob Monkhouse was. Confident, charismatic, razor sharp wit. Very talented guy. Not sure if he was appreciated as such by the public at the time, but looking back, they deffo don't make them like Bob anymore!
