One time I was driving with my mum through the Jersey Pike, a full ladder fell off the back of someone’s work van directly in front of us all while everyone was going 65-70, even though we managed to move over 2 separate lanes it still found its way under neath our car, we hit it and had to pull over. Just 20mins prior to this I had swapped with my mum to drive the car. If she had stayed driving who knows if she would have had the reaction time to maneuver around cars at the time. Also ended up with nothing but a light scratch on the car despite running over the entire ladder.
