GOOD QUESTION 😂😂😂

This question is actually quite straightforward if we take the time to examine the historical and cultural context. 1. What calendar was used to count Adam’s age in Genesis 6? Adam’s age, as recorded in Genesis, was written by Moses. This means the years were recorded according to the system Moses was familiar with, an ancient Near Eastern calendar. While their calendar differed from our modern Gregorian calendar in certain details (such as the number of days in a year or the structure of months), the fundamental concept of a “day” was the same. In ancient Near Eastern culture, a day was counted as one full cycle of evening and morning, just as we count a day today. They also recognized a full seasonal cycle (spring, summer, autumn, winter) as a year. However, their calendar year was typically around 354 days (based on a lunar system), which is about 11 days shorter than our 365-day solar year. Because of this difference, if we were to convert 930 ancient years into our modern calendar, the number might be slightly different. That said, the difference would not drastically change the total lifespan. The biblical translators did not “convert” the years into a modern system; they translated the text directly. Therefore, when Genesis says Adam lived 930 years, it reflects 930 years according to the ancient Near Eastern reckoning, which would still be very close to 930 years by modern calculation. 2. When did the counting of Adam’s age begin? The bible shows that death entered the human experience after the Fall. Therefore, Adam’s recorded lifespan began from the time he became subject to death, that is, after the Fall. This means Adam lived 930 years after the Fall. The text does not account for any period before that event. In this sense, his recorded age reflects the time during which he lived under the condition of mortality. In summary, according to the biblical record, Adam lived 930 years after the Fall, counted according to an ancient Near Eastern calendar system that measured days in essentially the same way we do today.

The more you think you are wise, the more you sound foolish. He can also research for the answers and get them, the answers are not meant for only those with the holy spirit

You that have sense please can you help out

Dear Machi, the "Earth" is about 4 billion years old, far older than "Adam and Eve" what Calander did we use to discover the age of Earth? Common nau 🤦♂️

@machioluoma I am very sure the Bible was and will never go down as a made up story… what this man is asking is like a Toyota Camry questioning its own manual asking his fellow vehicles questions we can’t answer… questions that are useless to everyone just to look smart that’s foolishnes

@machioluoma Heaven and Earth will pass away but the Words of God stands forever. The Bible has lasted thousands of years, what other story book do you know that has lasted this long?

@Dabiator_nft The slave master’s greatest success was convincing the enslaved that his book was eternal truth.

@Dabiator_nft Haha I weak for you so cant you think for yourself? Are you a slave, was the book forced on you as a slave? Haha Machi please 😂

The Gregorian calendar (introduced in 1582) didn't "start" the calendar, it reformed the Julian calendar by skipping 10 days in October (October 4 was followed directly by October 15) to correct seasonal drift. The Julian calendar (from 45 BCE) was solar, with 365 days per year (plus a leap day every 4 years, making 366). Earlier, the pre-Julian Roman calendar was lunar-based, with 12 months totaling about 355 days per year. Many ancient cultures, including the Israelites, used lunar calendars (≈354–355 days based on moon phases). The biblical command to Moses (Exodus 12:2) established the new moon as the start of months for the Hebrew people — around the time of the Exodus (circa 13th–15th century BCE) — though lunar systems existed long before. So moses who wrote it might have use the lunar counting of years

Go and read the original scriptures.. numbers where exaggerated and they knew how to count a year without your calender, a year is a year.. one harvest season to the next is one year.. u dont need holy spirit to know that, they are farmers, they know how to count cycles.

lol 😂

It’s counted according to seasons from summer to summer makes a year. Or dry season to dry season

lol 😂

I remember the bible said when God was creating in the 6 days of creation, he created day and night, and the morning and evening he called day 1

Stop exposing your foolishness thinking you are smart. The ancient people have always known how to mark years, times and seasons. Some ancient calendars have thirteen months with each month having 28 days. This is similar to our 12 month calendar with same number of years

It’s called Adams calendar 🤣

Talk am again 😂

lol. You’ve spoken like a black man, the race with the lowest IQ on earth. This does not require the Holy Spirit obviously. Didn’t the people of old also count days before the Calendar was made? Back then they call it “1st day, 2nd day, 3rd day,” and so on. Same way the months were counted in numbers and not names. What the Pope did was name each days and each months, and most of the days and months were renamed after pagan gods and goddesses. Like Sunday that was named after the sun god, and January and February and so on. Nope, you don’t need Holy Spirit to know this basic thing, you only need common sense which blacks don’t have. The only know how to laugh like fools like @machioluoma About Adam, Adam was born the day he was created. It is very simple to understand it like that but being black, you don’t have the brain to get it

They use the Moon and stars to count days…

Who be that

Early humans….

Haha First explain how you are carried 9months and wait for 12 months to celebrate Ur birthday I'm waiting

You're doing too much to emancipate black folks... Thanks sis

Moses was the one this revelation was revealed to. Now who was Moses? Moses was a royal prince , educated in Egyptian science and Lunar calendar that was existing already . The age of Adam started from the breath of consciousness he had and become A LIVING SOUL - so only a living can have his age measured. Next question 🤔 👀

God did not reveal the calendar to Moses so data no Dey 😂😂 we fit Enoch who walked with God but doesn’t have a book in the Bible cause it’s considered canon but shouldn’t we be curious on the type of life a man who walked with God lived 😂😂

Now I know why Jesus was quiet at some point. Not every question deserves an answer.

Moses wrote it by inspiration besides that’s not the focus of the book. The book is about you caring for others as much as you care about yourself.

Religion is very dangerous and it’s a scam

It was 1600yrs etween Adam and Noah, then 900yrs between Noah and Abraham, and 2000yrs between Abraham and Jesus. It is now 2000yrs since Jesus. Total time since creation is hence 6500yrs. But how come the oldest fossil discovered Kenyapithecus was found to be 1.4million yrs old.

Bible never note specifically that Adam was created as an adult, No. Adam was created simple, we were not informed how many years he lived before naming the animals or before Eve was created. He could have grown into an adult overtime.

All calendars agree to one fact, the circle around the sun too 365 and a quarter days and they called it a year. Do your research, ancient men were obsessed with time and the stars. They were able to predict eclipse and weather. They knew seasons and stellar positioning. @grok

I’m happy to hear from my fellow anti Christ who have attained the consciousness of our ancestors 👹🌄🐆

@grok, answer him with facts

My holy spirit is shy… 🙈

The ans are in the verse. “All the days he lived” from the day he was created till the day he died was 930 years. Pretty straight forward. The first question is fallacious because you’ve disregarded that men have been counting days and years long before the Gregorian calendar

He kills me when he says “use that your holy spirit”🤣🤣🤣🤣

God created, He said this is the first day. Adam was created on the sixth day, if you say Adam was an adult, how old was he when he was created? Just one day, right? What's the use of seasons, the sun and the moon? You think people knew time based on the clock?

This question is deep o. Who will answer it like this 😂😂

NB: The Holy Spirit is not for answering trivial questions but for eternal things

This is very simple to answer. First, does this man believe in Adam and the bible? My guess is no! So, there’s no need going forward with any explanations.

Bro thinks he asked difficult questions. 😆

No boss Adam form from what we called Atom, though I can't call it Atom yet becaus my research is still ongoing But Adam was not created a Man as you say thinking a full grown adulthood Next is Adam's age the time calculated back then is not d same so drop your misinformation

When we ask questions, we should ask from a place of seeking understanding and not from a place of trying to be funny or prove we are wise. God said let the sun rule the day n the moon rule the night. N called day to night 1 day. Is it a calendar that did that also?

But God created the world in 6days and rested in the 7th day. It’s obvious they already had means of calculating time then too right?

We all agree and believe that the Bible was inspired by God right? That means everything inside including Adams age was revealed/inspired by God. In such a case, where they started counting doesn't matter.

Day and Night has always bn recorded 4rm Genesis web God started creation.Time as U know it existed 4rm d beginning.Even in African history when we had no clock,d sun was used 2 measure time.Lunar cycle,Solar Observation, etc were used b4 calendar.Adam’s age was counted 4rm day 1
