I set a field on fire playing with matches when I was seven. It became an enormous fire. I lied and blamed a younger kid who was with me for it. Not proud of that at all. Fire spreads incredibly quickly with dry grass. This was in the late seventies. And kids were told daily not to play with matches. Thankfully the fire department put it out and no property was damaged.

These folks seem to be worried so I don’t think it’s a staged video but in my area and many places were water flows, burning the brush is an easy way of clearing out ravines, drain ditches etc. Saves on labor and machinery.

Need to make bare spots ahead of the fire. Rake it down to dirt.
