As an economist, I don’t understand why you think this makes a difference, without simultaneously cutting income tax for the largest segment, low to median wage earners. £24bn is almost unnoticeable. You’re knackering yourself for something which, even if you achieve it, the numbers show it won’t deliver the change needed. That doesn’t make sense to me. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Have a nice break. When I was younger, only 25-30 years ago, our government was much smaller, had a much smaller budget, we paid less taxes, yet public services, healthcare, local councils, transportation, emergency services etc, were 20 times more efficient.
