Zero sympathy. You're borrowing someone else's trees. Go buy a bunch of full size trees and get them installed. I landed a 50 footer to block a neighbor who looked right into our house. Best $1500 I ever spent.

Today years old when I learned you can pick grown ass trees like weeds.

I have neighbors who did this for fear of fire. I never did. I value my privacy over the fear.

There is an oddly large number of people that WANT to see other peoples homes and daily activities. I find these people interesting, in a purely negative sense.

at that point, I'd chain myself to the tree. it has a better chance of resulting in change than those 'just stop oil' folks that glue themselves to the road

I don't understand why step one of building a house is stripping the lot bare. If I was building on a lot like that I would want the trees in the way out but leave as many that give privacy as possible. I like shade, and birds, and not seeing the neighbors 24/7.

Not on my lot, neighbor is clearing it.

I live out in the woods so i can drop my trees without warning or direction, they fall where they fall. But i try to keep as many as possible and only cut them if i absolutely have to. Basically for my driveway and where my cabin will be placed. All the rest will be fully wooded.
