Only known publicly as Chuck, both on Instagram and Twitter, it appears that he has taken his own life. - Approximately 1 in 5 adults in the United States experiences mental illness in a given year. - Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the country. - In 2019, the suicide rate in the United States was 13.9 suicides per 100,000 individuals. Males were 22.8 per 100,000, whereas females 6.2 per 100,000. To you All: Stop comparing yourself to everyone else on social media. That will make you think that your life sucks. Social media skews towards a false idea of mass happiness. People show the best photos of themselves, the best moments they experience and usually ignore all the bad. To Our Politicians: Fund mental health initiatives. Make sure it's easy for anyone to get help regardless of their income. Make mental health a priority, PLEASE!

But in this industry when people see you failing too much, slowing down or struggling, it can be a death sentence. Fans call you out on Twitter and professionals call you "washed" behind closed doors. This is what the coaches, players, managers, content creators and many more live every day. They bottle it up and hide it from friends, family, managers, teammates because they're ashamed. It gets to a point where I need to specify that we can work together under NDAs so they can save face and be sure that nobody will find out they asked for help. We cannot continue working like this. Esports has been chewing up and spitting out these people for decades now. And I believe this shit needs to stop. Whether you've got the funds to seek help or not, I got you. For those who can, you can apply/book consultations to get the help you need, single consultations, weekly follow-ups. Whatever you need we'll find a way to make it work. For the younger ones, or if you simply cannot afford it, I've got something for you too. You can ask as many questions as you want and fill out the form available below. I'll answer the most frequently asked questions live and give you advice, resources, help, so you can work on your own. At the time, there was a wide chasm between boardroom jargon and the so called professionals, whether it was online or on CNBC. In the beginning, I was known for saying outlandish things, writing funny articles about my experiences in the market; but it wasn’t too far into the beginning of the site when the financial crisis hit and my bonafides were firmly established, having nailed that and many others since then. The halcyon days of the blogosphere pre Twitter was something to behold and I did my part in creating a community of like minded lunatics. We traded and did it well and argued and got mad at one another; because that’s what men do when competing. Once upon a time, the site hosted 200 bloggers, did a few public events, and regularly trolled CNBC with malicious intent. But those days are long over and I made a promise to you long ago that I’d never blog past the age of 47.5. Lo and behold, here I am at 48 with news that I am retiring from blogging as “The Fly”, in exchange for getting back into the field of professional money management. You have to understand, I have been given a gift from God to see what others cannot and my skillset is wasted by simply talking to a gaggle of ne’erdowells. Whilst I do appreciate your evergreen support and company, The Fly was always destined for greatness and I must bid you adieu. Many thanks to all of you who’ve read me since 2007 and before that on other sites.
