What's interesting is the Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young whom America were often accused of copying are hardly ever played these days - despite being huge on the cusp of the sixties/seventies - whereas America’s tunes are played more and more. George Martin understood.

Always thought that one good indicator of the musical talents of a group, is how well they perform a song in a format like this. Essentially live studio with no enhancements this was a good version. America was a great band.
