After the run $GOOGL has had this year, I would not bet against @sundarpichai

@sundarpichai I wouldn’t do it either but there are plenty people shorting the stock since $210.....

I’m sure there will be some short term volatility they can capture, but I see $GOOGL as a long term hold. They’ll continue to innovate and win in the tech space (like Gemini 3); YouTube is a staple and isn’t going anywhere; Waymo is winning and will have market share in the Robotaxi market; and Google Cloud is growing fast. I have it priced at $340-360 currently and think that’s fair over the next 12 months

Space data centers aren’t hype. They’re an energy constraint workaround.

If you are wondering why (other than just stating the facts) the answer is easy. Hype can go very far when it comes to stock valuations

Just watched Sebastian Siemiatkowski, CEO of Klarna, on CNN. Interesting point about AI; he just mentioned data compression. All human knowledge fits on a USB Drive, and AI’s primary goal is efficiency. So why so many and so large data centers?

Of course the difference between a data center on earth and a data center in space, is dramatic. 1. Scenario 1: I am sorry we were hit with a power outage in our backup failed we have the local electrical vendor alleviating the issue ASAP., should be restored in a few hours. Please be patient. 2. Scenario 2: our data center was hit by an asteroid. It’s gonna take eight months before we could get up there with a ship to alleviate the issues in realign the solar panels with the sun. These people think big butt are too small minded to think of the potential consequences of unpredictable catastrophes

I've had Gemini run the numbers to validate the business case. Google's own AI model says it's not profitable, a losing endeavor!
