Google just shipped professional product photoshoots in a tool called Pomelli. You upload a single product image, pick the type of shoot you want, and get a full campaign (with image and video). Watch me test it on Built bars 👇

The video above walks you through the full workflow. But the new photoshoot feature deserves a shoutout - I tried it on several types of products and was blown away by some of the results. Even details like this chair pattern or the bar wrapper look great. (👏 to the team at @GoogleLabs and thanks for early access!)

why hire a photographer when you have a smartphone

The fact that it can maintain texture consistency on things like chair patterns and crinkled bar wrappers is the real breakthrough here. 🤯 We're used to AI blurring out the fine details or messing up the text, but the Nano Banana model powering this seems to actually understand material physics. Getting a perfectly framed, crisp 16:9 lifestyle campaign out of a single flat product photo is just wild. 📸

Democratized access usually destroys the premium signal. Now everyone looks expensive, so nobody does.

Sick🔥. this would take a so much more time to create without ai. this is the more optimal way. google cooked

this is wild. single image to full campaign with video too? product photography costs are about to drop to near zero for indie makers

That’s cool 👍 but actually doable on any AI image generator. But I found @CreadsApp and they go further with a brand agent that understands your business and scrap your product. It’s also tailored for ads, not just random product content. It also works with services. It’s free and available everywhere ( unlike Google app). The little thing that makes the difference is it’s also generate your post caption.

google is starting 100 startups at the same time

graphic designers watching this while updating their portfolios with "AI prompt engineer" 😭

While Google keeps dropping real use cases for their models, I hear nothing from the OpenAI camp.

@VonFrontin

🙏 These turned out so nice, thank you!

It still looks very ai to me, wouldn’t do this for my brand yet

BRANDISEER already does these and in your exact brand's style

Adobe can’t keep up

Free product photoshoots? Marketing budget saver.
This is disturbing. Who'd wanna study photography or even buy the equipment.

interesting that Google is moving here, did the video quality hold up or was it mainly the image that worked?

@_iamcosta_

single image to full campaign is wild. the video output especially, most product photo tools stop at stills. curious how it handles reflective surfaces and packaging

@grok does this have an api? Pricing?

Upload one photo and get a full campaign with images and video. Product photography studios everywhere should be very concerned right now

pomelli's output is shockingly good. but i'm curious: how many of those generated assets are actually production-ready without human editing?

It’s like canva….yawn

wait this is actually insane for indie hackers no more paying $500 for product shots 🔥

But only if you're in the USA. Canada, Australia or New Zealand. The rest of the world still has to sing dixie before trying it. Still waiting :-(

Built bars in AI shoots? Candy's new photogenic era.

Can it create flyers for church program?

This is the new baseline for marketing ops. One good product shot = a full campaign starter kit.

the single-shot problem is basically solved now. what DTC brands keep telling us is doing this at scale across a full catalog, staying on brand, is still the painful bit. that's what we built around.

@Zhitnipalzhi смари, это тебе надо

this kills 90% of product photography for ecommerce. the remaining 10% (luxury, editorial) still needs humans for now

Just shipped? 🤣🤣, es mas viejo que la moda de andar a pie jajaja

Google is cooking shit right left and center
