"Strength Through Joy" (Kraft durch Freude, or KdF) was a Nazi slogan and program aimed at controlling and organizing workers' leisure activities to align with Nazi ideals. Established in 1933 under Robert Ley, the program was part of the German Labor Front (DAF) and sought to use leisure time to strengthen the body and spirit, ultimately creating a more productive workforce for the nation. KdF offered affordable vacations, cultural events, and sports, even promoting the Volkswagen Beetle. The program was a tool for Nazi ideological control, ensuring that all aspects of life, including leisure, served the state's interests. Post-World War II, "Strength Through Joy" is remembered as a symbol of Nazi propaganda and totalitarian manipulation.

Also: “We see what can be, unburdened by what has been.” This phrase is a version (perversion??) from Communist leader Mao Zedong. It is a motto from his regime which justified killing or starving millions while he attempted to bring about a socialist utopia in China.

Using concerts (subsidized leisure activities) to promote the nazi party & fascism was part of it.
