looks great but I get blocked when I try to create almost anything because it violates their terms - even stuff like snapping fingers to turn off lights. Unusable/nerfed.

quick reality check : -max 10 seconds -u cant edit videos pretty much at this point it just says i violated policy even if its as harmless as it gets for example “change the cat to a dog” somehow breaks their policy

@demishassabis Only way to stay sane into the future is to disconnect from screens that project altered reality. Humans are not built for living in a world with such rapid change where illusion is indistinguishable from reality. How does everyone think this ends?

Google Omni video editing demo is legitimately impressive consistent object swaps, material changes, transparency, and additions inside real clips. Still early, but this is the kind of tool that will eat a lot of traditional VFX/roto/paint work.

this is a fantastic advert for the capability. I realise there are many who care deeply about the process and craft but personally, I'm almost exclusively only getting positive vibes from what the most creative minds will be able to make with this. It'll have more creative flair and soul than modern Disney / MCU thats for certain.

Deeply frustrated with trying to edit videos with Omni. Guardrails seem crazy restrictive. It’s rejected every prompt I’ve given without any explanation
