1. Generate initial vid - I used t2v for this gen - You can use t2v or i2v - Add your text prompt and run PROMPT: racing montage of a street race between a 1970's chevy camaro racing a 2025 lamborghini on a coastal road in calfornia. The scene is intense action from start to finish, with shot transitions showing the cars: 1. front tracking shot of both cars 2. transition to a closeup 3. transition to rear shot of the cars driving away

2. Add to Scenebuilder - If you like the shot...select "add to scene" - You might not like the entire video - Trim the scene to desired location - Select "Extend" + add text prompt - (You use Veo2 for the extend) EXTEND PROMPT the camera pushing in at a low angle on both cars as they race away from us

3. Trim + Extend - You can continue this process - Try keeping the prompts simple - Focusing on camera motion + subject motion - The aesthetic is basically defined already Extend Prompt: the shot tracks fast trying to keep up with the 2 cars racing away from us. The camera pushes in closeup fast on the drivers side of the blue car as it speeds away from us towards the horizon.

4. Trim + Extend: - Repeat the process - The simplier the prompts..the better the results. - For keeping the "extend" consistent Prompt 1: the camera pushes in closeup on the driver in the driver-side window who is intensely focused as the car accelerates Prompt 2: the car exits the scene as the camera focuses on the desert road moving at a fast pace

5. Edit Them Together - Edit your timeline for finetuning - You can DL the clips individually - Or export the entire timeline - Select "download" to export full clip.

Thanks for coming down the rabbit-hole. More tests to come.

It’s using Veo 2 to extend, which means that this feature isn’t necessarily and fully available for Veo 3. Another way to do this is to extract the last frame of your downloaded Veo 3 output, then use that last frame as your first frame (image to video).

yes i've been doing that but find it has trouble matching the pacing of the previous video..especially with the driving scenes. Might work better for other types of scenes tho.

@Ror_Fly stay with that heat! 🔥

i'll try to keep them coming
