It is not often that we are witness to goodness and grace. Simplicity. Purity. Holiness. I so wish I could stand on a street, along a highway, in a field—just to behold those who #WalkForPeace I am nowhere near their path, but experience tremendous joy as I watch, from afar💝

I hope a filmmaker is making a documentary on this Walk for Peace. I would love to see it.

This is truly amazing 🙌🐶

These are the true Nobel Peace Prize recipients!!

@meenakshibhanja As an Indian, I am deeply pained to witness the mass killing of Indian community and stray dogs like “Aloka” across villages, towns, and cities in India. This week alone, more than 500 dogs were killed in Telangana by injecting lethal poison.

THAT should be the Nobel Peace Prize !

This is the opposite of Trump tribe. This is mindfulness kindness caring compassion Left…..🤔✊❤️🤗🙌

They probably did not have any idea that they would be so warmly and welcomed by the public. They represent hope for our country in such perilous times.

This is a sweet essence, fresh air, and kind thoughts. Palate cleanser. There's so much unpleasant stuff that we're exposed to, minute by minute, the Monks, Aloka, and the Peace walk is such a welcome, and inspiring offering to the world. Namaste! 🙏🏻 ❤️

THEY should win the Nobel peace prize!!

Secular Buddist here hoping folks get what they are doing. They are performing a living prayer for peace and unity while a considerable number of good american “christians” are giving them hell over it. It’s shows the importance, weight and gravity of what they are doing 🫶🏽

Strange that Trump and his Administration haven't even acknowledged them. It speaks volumes.

This is so beautiful but why isn't the media reporting about this? It almost feels like it's on purpose at this point. What do billionaire media moguls have against peace I wonder 🤔

These are what real people of peace look and act like.

I worry about Ice snatching them!

Much R E S P E C T! ❤️🙏🏼❤️

BAWLING MY EYES. Oh the humanity.

Same. When I see vids of the monks & their pup on their peace walk, I have a such a feeling of calm.

Soaking up the only good news I’ve seen 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

These are heroes. These are humble. These are those who deserve the Nobel peace prize. 🙏

Goosebumps every single time, future Nobel Peace Prize 🥲🤗

I cry every time I see them and think of them. Aloka looks like my Kaya. THIS IS WHO WE ARE! Feel it deep inside of you and don't allow politics and the Elites to steal your journey. It's short. Love ya'll!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

@frankdpi I’d love to go see this. Might head to rural VA to see them. I’m concerned about adding myself to the huge crowds they may see from Richmond to Washington, DC.

Beautiful, heart touching! Religions are defined, not by books, but by the way people of any particular religion behave today. All religions may have their perceived flaws. Of all religions today, the one which is least hypocritical and most peaceful, is Buddhism (this is my feeling, others need not agree to it, well and good, to each his own). I am a Hindu. But over six months, when several dogs (most of them pups), were brutally killed by the people in society I live in (the youngest was barely a month old), with a lot of vengeance, I was in immense pain, for months. I lost weight. My patients used to ask me, if I was fine. In spite of me being Hindu, every SINGLE time I buried the dogs body (yes, we have an honorable burial to all of them), and when I closed my teary eyes, I NEVER saw a temple, I saw only monastery, specifically Phuktal Monastery, which is remotely located in Ladakh in North India. When this eight pup was killed, and I was so unsettled, after a few days, I booked my ticket to Leh and Ladakh and decided to go to that monastery, for a closure, and for soul searching. I did go to Phuktal, carried pics of many dogs who were ruthlessly killed, with vengeance, by Indians (mostly Hindus), prayed for them there, lighted candles as well. Sharing a video of same. It’s in Hindi, but am explaining the same things. That when I close my eyes and look for peace, I can see only Buddhism. Am so happy these monks are out to teach peace and compassion, in a love starved world. If they were in India, Indians would have killed Aloka by now.

❤️❤️❤️❤️thank you .. Walk of Peace 🫶🏾

@PepperRobles Oh💕 Thanks for posting. Needed to see this. At times….it feels hopeless.

It’s so beautiful and divine and yet in India dogs like Aloka are mercilessly tortured and killed just because haters hate

Heroes. Every one of them, including Aloka.

“Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me”🕊☮️

This is everything that is right in the world. This is a heart and soul to strive for. ❣️❣️❣️

I wish the monks were coming to my state.

I think their journey of peace is wonderful. Thank you for posting. I hope they will arrive at their destination safe and sound.

🙏🏼
