Gordon says working on Honestly, Nevermind with Drake was all about feeling over formula. No rules, just rhythm. To him, it wasn’t just an album — it was a risk that paid off in emotion. “It’s already a classic.”

Joe Budden says he's never seen a dominant like Drake find himself in make or break position like ICEMAN album drop no matter what it sells. They said Her Loss was make or break after Honestly, Nevermind, $$$ 4U/Scorpion was make or break after the beef. I guess the album after ICEMAN is make or break for Drake🥶😂

Black Coffee says Drake achieved what he wanted with "Honestly, Nevermind" album and on what Drake told him when making the album. "I want to get into territories that I wouldn't normally go to (Ibiza, Greece, Monaco, Saint-Tropez) and that's your playground. I wanna exist there too. I've done everything else for everyone else."

Was at CNBLUE 3logy smlm. It was all nice tapi can’t help but feel like something was off with Yonghwa. He didn’t talk much, kept wanting to move on with songs, wasn’t very smiley. Maybe it’s just a personal feeling but i feel like it’s not the usual him? Ykwim?

well britney wasn’t in on it. she was just there to present his cake, but the people at mtv really played him because they advertised for weeks it was an award and it turned out to be just a cake with a decoration that michael mistook as an award. this was all mtv’s doing. 😭

Shannon Sharpe asks Hitmaka about the cease and desist Drake sent French Montana over "Splash Brothers" song. "For that one? No. That's on an album I executive produced for French Montana. Shortly after that we did "No Stylist", we had incredible success with that ... he had his health scare, he came back and he had a record from Drake and I think it was a cease and desist or whatever. I wasn't involved with the process of it, Drake and French are super close."

Druski says filming the “Churchill Downs” video with Drake and Jack Harlow was bigger than the race horse itself. "Jack that's his hometown and he brought probably the most people that's ever been to Churchill Downs ever... it was a huge moment for him and just to see that Drake coming to his hometown and being a part of that song... at the time like everybody was like "he's the white boy", "he's the one right now" and to see him come and embrace him like that was a big deal."

RFK Jr. says the Mike Tyson MAHA Super Bowl ad wasn’t scripted and the emotion was real. “The tears that he sheds in that ad were real.” “They had a script… and they tried to get him to read it for almost 8 hours and it was not working.” “So they said, let’s just let him talk and a very powerful ad is what came out of that.” “It was an outpouring from him from his heart.”

🚨 Glasses Malone says Drake beating Meek Mill helped create Drake’s “villain origin story” and says that’s when Drake started leaning harder into a gangster/tough guy persona “He went from just being a cool dude that was multi-talented, super successful, to like, ‘I’m that nigga.’ And it’s like, hold on, bro, you’re not a nigga at all.” Glasses says he was actually rooting for Drake against Meek because he felt Meek was trying to bully him over not posting his album. He says Back to Back” was the moment Drake handled business and won. But he argues that after that victory, Drake started leaning harder into a tougher image and rapping about a life Glasses says wasn’t really his lane. Glasses says the Meek battle gave Drake the feeling of being triumphant and from there, that tougher persona kept growing.

This wasn’t just about stats or highlights. It was about the intensity. It was about the passion. To be named an All-Star amongst so many incredible hoopers is one thing ⬆️ but to step onto that stage and do what you love? That wasn’t just special. It was a treat. 🏀✨

So this whole ugly beef really started because Kendrick was given the Big 3 moment and he publicly rejected it with “it’s just big me.” Kendrick was just refusing a hierarchy. Now there is rumors of Kendrick being on a J. Cole album with Drake after all this supposed “culture war.” So what was the point of all that division? all that moral grandstanding? I guess it was just about positioning. I believe, the industry needed a counterweight to Drake, someone they can market as the “pure” alternative, and Kendrick was it. Here’s why I think Drizzy should never do a project with Kendrick nearby: When Drake shows up- he brings the world with him-streams, playlists, headlines, and attention. If Drake were on an album with Kendrick, Drake would activate the culture, but the story would become “Kendrick outshined him,” even if Drake made the actual hits. That’s how narratives work. Drake would create the success, and Kendrick would get the credit, just like what happened in the beef. That power trip beef by UMG was all about narrative laundering. So Drake staying away is the smart move. Without Drake, Kendrick has to stand on his music alone, no giant spotlight, no built-in villain, no automatic attention from being next to the biggest star in the genre. Look at that Playboi Carti project: no Drake, no real peak, no lasting impact. And that’s exactly what Kendrick’s team doesn’t want tested, again. At the end of the day, it’s simple: Drake doesn’t need Kendrick to win. Kendrick needs Drake to matter. And that imbalance is what this whole “beef” was really built on. 🦉
