Gorgeous Hedgehog was out again last night, (21.39 hours) munching on cat biscuit that we've put out for them. Turn the volume up and have a listen, it's adorable! 😍 (If you see one out during the day, please contact a wildlife rescue for advice!) 🦔

We have some visiting us most nights at the campsite we are at. There are some tiny hogletts from this year too

I filled a tuna tin my daughter had from dinner with water and left it out for them and the birds if they needed it

Our trail cam picked up three couple of nights ago. They’re very partial to Spikes semi-moist food (as are the foxes)

@ianmstuart Not Brilliant at all I fed ours Spikes for Years NO Nutrition NOT Good for them Stopped buying that UnRegulated JUNK several years ago now.

....and apparently putting out bread and milk for them, as we used to do way back when, is the last thing you should do.

I know... it was what we were always advised to do when I was a kid!

We're lucky to have them locally, but they're struggling overall in the UK, categorised as 'vulnerable to extinction'. 😔

I didn't know that. That's unfortunate. People have them as pets in the US.

I wish we had hedgehogs here in the U.S.! But this morning, we had 3 beautiful deer in our backyard and an injured red-shouldered hawk on our street. Wildlife officials came and picked him up. I hope he’ll be ok!

I stupidly put in a new fence completely forgetting that we had hedgehogs, our garden apparently was a very romantic spot for them 😜. I'm moving soon but will definitely be more accommodating in my new garden.

They get into my garden via holes underneath my fences... essential that Hedgehogs can move freely between gardens. 😊

We put out special hedgehog food & a bowl of water every evening and the resident hedgehogs (mother and this year's youth) are very appreciative. In the heatwave and with the soil dry and hard as concrete, we need to keep them nice and plump. :D

Too cute. 🥰 Get nice & fat little one. My mother used to look after & sometimes over winter hogs that were out in the day, winter & underweight when I was a child. Back when the internet was in its infancy and information was scarce too. Will always love her for that.

We have a hedgehog in our garden and leave food. With our patio doors open you can often hear it crunching on the food just as it's getting dark. It's a real little joy.

They truly are the cutest. What is it with cat food.... that so many creatures love it...

We too here in Brittany are lucky enough to have a nightly visit from a large female hedgehog. We have many wide hedges as well so we hope she finds normal grub there too. Our garden is mostly wild and inviting to small mammals.

I just love watching/listening to these adorable critters! It's too bad we don't have them here in the US.

They must have some teeth. I put our munchies too. And had my bedroom window open and we knew the hedgehogs were around without checking the cameras because of the munching! 😂

@DalriadaTemple I found one a few weeks back out in the day. Took ages to find a rescue that would collect her (i dont drive) but we got there in the end. She was absolutely fine.. rehomed in someones garden and apparently doing well.
