I was blessed with a dog the neighborhood children wanted to play with and take for walks. He was a very special animal.

Omg I love this so much! My neighbour's grandkids would come knock on my door so they could pet our Maltese puppy. Kids are grown now and our puppy passed 2 yrs ago. Great memories though.

We stayed for 2 weeks with our dog at an inn with a fine dining restaurant. First day I had her outside we met half the serving staff, who wanted to say hello. Hello turned into "Does your dog like steak?" She dined on free filet mignon almost every night we were there.

I did that. As a kid I'd have given my right arm for a dog. So I did the next best thing, I borrowed the neighbors' collie. Walked her 3x/ day, and when they went on vacation and she was mine for a week, I was in doggy heaven.

It’s cold as shit out there, snow everywhere…what many might deem treacherous they see as a playground. Birds of a feather…boy and doggo.

An English Sheepdog pup in my apts. changed my life. Mom was divorced, couple had a puppy. Us kids kept asking if Charlie could play. Mom met the couple, pilot and stewardess, who told her Eastern Airlines was hiring. She got the job, we moved into middle class and stayed there.

Kids in my neighborhood used to play with my border collie Smokey. They’d knock on my door and ask for him to chase squirrels with them. It was so sticking cute!!! I love that it still happens. 🐾
