Woman attacks Uber driver mid ride in NY. Unprovoked and violent: This dashcam footage captures the moment Jennifer Guilbeault pepper-sprayed her Uber driver, Shohel Mahmoud, in an unmotived attack on the Upper East Side. As the car approached a red light at E 65th St and Lexington Ave, Mahmoud began a quiet prayer in Arabic. Without warning, Guilbeault lunged from the backseat, dousing him in pepper spray while her companion tried to intervene to stop her. Mahmoud, momentarily blinded, struggled to stop the vehicle safely. The aftermath has been swift. Guilbeault was terminated from her job at a Manhattan marketing firm shortly after the video went public. Court Case Update (April 2026): Jennifer Guilbeault is currently facing serious felony charges in the New York State Supreme Court. Following an investigation by the Manhattan DA’s Hate Crimes Unit, she was indicted on: Assault in the Second Degree as a Hate Crime (Class C Felony) Assault in the Third Degree as a Hate Crime (Class E Felony) Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree Prosecutors upgraded the charges to include hate crime designations based on evidence that the attack was motivated by the victim’s religious practice. If convicted of the top charge, she faces up to 15 years in prison. The case remains one of the most high-profile prosecutions involving the safety of rideshare workers in NYC. While I do believe this woman should be prosecuted as her attack was unwarranted, I'll be curious to see how they are trying to claim his religion was a driving force for her attack. I see zero evidence that religion has anything to do with it in clip made public. Is the claim valid, or is this another example of trying to push a narrative by pulling religion into this? We will need to revisit this one.

Drunk male karen tried to square up on officer twice his size over an Uber dispute. It comically does not end well for him. Deputies in Charlotte County, Florida, received an urgent call from an Uber driver. She reported that her passenger, 52-year-old Eric Martel, had become incredibly aggressive and confrontational after she picked him up from a local bar. Fearing for her safety, the driver didn't hesitate—she immediately dropped Martel off in a nearby business parking lot and called 911. When deputies arrived minutes later, Martel initially allowed a pat-down for weapons, but the cooperation stopped there. Over the course of the interaction, his demeanor completely shifted into outright hostility. When property management requested that Martel be formally trespassed from the property, he flatly refused to leave. He repeatedly shouted obscenities, squared up with a sergeant, and accused the deputies of disrespecting him. The situation crossed the line when Martel looked directly at a deputy that was twice his size and told him he will need three of him to stop him. The deputy answered I doubt that. After multiple warnings to walk away and stop causing a public disturbance, deputies attempted to place Martel under arrest. Martel physically resisted, leading a deputy to deploy a Taser to safely bring him to the ground and secure him in handcuffs. If Martel had simply walked away when told to leave, he would have remained a free man. Instead, he was booked into the Charlotte County Jail on a heavy list of charges: Disorderly Intoxication Trespass After Warning Resisting an Officer Without Violence Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer (Felony) You just knew as this built up that this guy was playing stupid games and it would only be a matter of time before he won his prize.

Uber eats driver goes ballistic attacking police in a bank in Secaucus, NJ. The incident, involved 24-year-old delivery driver, Jahil Rust, started when she allegedly refused to confirm an Uber Eats delivery, leading to an argument with a customer. By the time local police arrived at the complex, Rust was on the phone refusing to fully interact with the officer and eventually fleeing the scene on her bicycle. Officers tracked her down near the intersection of 9th Street and Flanagan Way, but the situation quickly intensified when she refused to comply with lawful orders to stop. Attempting to elude the police after trying to hit one of them, Rust fled into a nearby TD Bank at 1262 Paterson Plank Road, pushing past staff and running behind the teller counter. As officers moved to take her into custody inside the bank, the encounter became chaotic. As can be seen in the body cam footage, Rust physically resisted and launched attacks on an officer, striking him in with multiple objects. Rust was subsequently taken into custody and charged with a long list of serious offenses, including: Aggravated ass@ult against a law enforcement officer. Aggravated ass@ult with a de@dly we@pon. Terroristic thre@ts Resisting arrest by force Burglary Possession of a we@pon for an unlawful purpose. As of May 2026 there is no trail update information available. The officer did sustain injuries from the attack that were treated after she was taken into custody. The worst part is, despite the seriousness of the charges on Rust, she was immediately released back into the streets under New Jersey's new bail reform program. You would think someone unhinged enough to attack police officers would be deemed a threat to the community and held without bail. This is the very definition of soft on crime policies.
