Because a veteran at TwitchCon in a QA asked Twitch CEO Dan Clancy if Twitch streamers would be held accountable for instances like that, regardless of social status.

The most gut-wrenching video that I have seen in a long time and I need this to reach every single Veteran on 𝕏. I have been in this situation and I totally understand what Josh is going through. I will use my platform for the betterment of our Veterans because at the end of the day, we are all here for each other even when our government has failed us. I am also sick and tired of losing my brothers and sisters. We MUST stand tall together. Never take a permanent solution to a temporary fix. My DM is open for ANY VETERAN that is struggling. I truly mean it. I am here.

🐻: The reason why I turned on the live for Armys.. the reason is, well, this might be kind of a TMI but also not? It’s not like someone asked me to promote their songs or something, or that I have a friend or any sort of connections with the group, it’s just I am a fan of the group Brown Eyed Soul and have been for a very long time. The tariffs are genius and explained here. I don’t understand why people are up in arms about President Trump’s tariffs. These are RECIPROCAL tariffs. These countries have already been imposing their tariffs on us for decades. We finally have a President who is saying “hey bud, if you are going to charge us, we are going to charge you the same in return. How is that a bad thing? The bad part is we have had these weak Presidents in the past that never did anything about it.

Veterans deserve separate legislative attention and special respect. And this must apply not only to veterans themselves, but also to veterans’ families. Unfortunately, this is still not fully reflected in state policy or in communities’ work. But the family of a veteran, the family of our fallen warrior, the family of someone missing in action, the family of a prisoner of war – families must be full-fledged subjects of veterans policy. I ask the Government of Ukraine, together with the Verkhovna Rada and veterans themselves, to prepare the relevant legislative proposals. And perhaps, if there is a need for it – and to ensure that proper respect is reflected in legislation – perhaps we should codify the legislation concerning veterans and adopt a Veterans Code. I ask government officials and members of Parliament to discuss this with the veteran community and provide feedback on it. From the address at the 9th International Veterans Forum (1/3)

You don't think that Chicagoans could have benefited from that? We have citizens in this city that have been on the waiting list for affordable housing for years, and migrants have been bumped in front of them. We have people who have been given up to $9,000 a month for housing assistance. That amount of the city of Chicago. We are not am pro black. I am for my marginalized who have been expect us to give up our parks places in our community for others. We're not saying that there's not room here, but what we are saying is that we are not going to step aside for you to accommodate them when you have continued to leave us out of the equation. I'm talking to Governor Pritzker and I'm talking to President Biden and I want you to understand This upcoming political year where the Democratic Party is on the menu, hear me, people of Chicago, of Illinois and of the United States. And if the Democrats in the city of Chicago, the state of Illinois, and the country of USA refuses to listen to us, then it is time for us to start looking at other alternatives. I'm looking at people who are coming here from another country giving work visas, giving social security cards. Nobody is asking them what walk of life that they come from. Senator Jeanne Shaheen on Syria: Are there going to be mistakes? Of course there will be mistakes. I just finished watching The American Revolution, which is a documentary in the United States about our fight for independence. There were all kinds of mistakes made in the early days of the United States. We continue to make mistakes. But the important thing about democracies — the important thing about stable societies — is that we are able to correct those mistakes, to provide accountability and justice when mistakes are made, and to move forward in a positive way. And that is what I think we want for Syria and for the entire Middle East region.

Julius Randle on how the turmoil in Minnesota and Minneapolis has affected him “Regardless of politics, there’s a human aspect to it, for me I have kids, I have family, for me the job as a man is to be the protector of the house. You see things like that and obviously, it’s tough, it’s hard to stomach things like that… regardless of whatever’s going on, when somebody lose their life, you never want to see that. A constituent from Venice recently brought an issue to our office that Catholic veterans are currently unable to have a crucifix on their headstone at VA cemeteries. So I led a letter to the VA urging this policy change and got 45 colleagues to sign in support! And now the House is already taking steps to direct the VA to make the change. Our veterans fought for this country. They should be laid to rest with the dignity and honor they so rightfully deserve, including the ability for Catholic veterans to have a crucifix on their headstone. Check out the letter:

How long has Universe been waiting for? 😂 The voting participation rate is insane. A completely unexpected number. I’m looking at the preliminary results… there are songs that are so unexpected. There are songs that I thought that Universe would like too. Wow~ within the 30 mins that the voting was opened, the number jumped a lot (from there). Seeing things like this, I think I keep thing ‘Wow, Universe really waited a long time for the complete group. You really waited for a long time.’ I thought about that a lot.
