I’m not even sure I should post this, but a friend told me about a wedding she went to last weekend. During the couple’s dance, the groom’s ex showed up in a wedding gown and tried to disrupt things. What stood out was how calm the bride was. Maybe she already knew about crazy ex. Apparently no one confronted her or dragged her out. Everyone just ignored her and continued the ceremony. After she finished her display, she got tired and left on her own. These things really happen in real life, and most don’t even make it online.

This woman has an old refrigerator that leaks pretty bad, it’s old and she’s excited to get one that doesn’t have any issues. She measured out the space herself and found one at the local hardware store that would fit perfectly. So she orders it and on the day of delivery she notices her neighbor got one too. She’s never bought a fridge before so she pays attention to how the interaction takes place. The neighbors home was built in similar style and size to her own. The delivery company ended up not being able to deliver the fridge to the neighbor or hers because it wouldn’t fit around the stairs. It makes me wonder how they got fridges in the house the first time, have you ever had this happen to you, what did you have to do to get your appliance to fit?

All the legends were there, I mean all of them, and little me of course. I was always in rooms I was too small to be in but felt so at home there. This woman just bought a new fridge a week ago and on this day it was finally delivered. The driver showed up alone, he could barely get the fridge in. As soon as he got it in the house she thought he was going it get tools, but instead he hurried up and left. She went into the kitchen and saw the fridge sideways, still wrapped, and has some significant gouges in the right door. She called the store and they offered to get her a new one but it would be over a week or they would give her $500 and she can fix it herself. Do you think he left because he didn’t want to deal with admitting what he did, would you take the money or should they offered her a new one and the money considering what he did?

So, Dorothy was able to guide her team right up to the very end, but she couldn't guide herself and she got lost, too far gone in her pain. I still believe she can be saved. She wants revenge on the Ark for betraying her and spitting on Goddess squad's endless sacrifices, and the crushing weight of that betrayal finally broke her mind. No words of wisdom could reach her anymore and that's how this overzone event leaves things for me. I don't want Dorothy to become a bad guy. I want her healed.

I met Anee Icha at the audition for Castle and castle many years ago. Then we worked on the show where she played the crazy receptionist. While directing her, I realized she had great comedic timing and fantastic improv skill. So I told her, one day I’m going to write a crazy story about a very clumsy girl and you will star in it. Somehow we lost touch and I completely forgot. It didn’t happen till three years later when she ran into me at a supermarket. She reminded me that we still hadn’t made this our movie. Coincidentally I was looking for a story that will make us build an extensive set design and VFX just to show off the skills of my Anthill Studios team. That night, the idea for Casa de Novia came to me. I called up my trusted writer Weaver of stories and showed her clips of Anee and we wrote the film for her. I’m glad Anee is getting all the praises and I want to see her do more films like this. Clumsy girl comedy is a big hit potential and we need more crazy ideas in Nollywood.

I am devastated right now. Tuesday, Ope Ola Grace called my attention to a woman who she saw at Sweet Sensation, OPIC Abeokuta with a child who appeared visibly malnourished. When I went even o check, she was no longer there. I finally got the chance to go see her moments ago and I met the baby like this. I don't know what to do. I'm thinking the worst but this woman is still holding on to the child that she's sleeping. Tried telling her to follow me to the hospital, but she refused. I have called the Commissioner for Women Affairs, and she's on her way to meet us here.

If it continues this way, many parents will end up home-schooling their kids. "Yesterday, this woman's daughter came to school with beaded hair after their sallah celebration...My H.M told her to remove the beads when she got home yesterday because we don't allow beads in school because other children may swallow or put it in their ear or nose. So this morning, she still came to school with the beaded hair again . Because their house is directly opposite the school...( the school head ) collected her school bag from her and told her to quickly go back home since her mother was still at home and remove only the beads. That was all.....nobody flogged her. The next thing.. her mother entered the school compound, met me at the assembly ground where I was addressing my students, without asking me what happened and before knowing what she came for she had already torn my clothes in the presence of my students. On behalf of all private school teachers, I am calling the Ministry of education and everybody to please come to teachers aid. We need to stop this humiliation from parents before it gets out of hand". A school teacher cries out..... To me this is embarrassing and the mother of that child should have done better for crying out loud...
