Totally made-for-social-media staged set up. It’s a Keystone lift that doesn’t run in the summer and this guy hiked up to it and filmed this while it’s been stationary all offseason.

The chairlift cables are greased. At this angle, it would be extremely difficult for the man to hang onto the cable and move even 50 cm along it while maintaining a secure grip. This might only be possible with dry, rough hemp ship ropes.🇨🇭🫕🇨🇭
