2 pictures of New Providence, Iowa gym. Yes it was a round gym and I did play in that gym in the 70's We played in a gym in Dows, Iowa that the out of bounds was the wall. We played with restraining lines. You have to be old to know what that was.

double 10-second lines? Why round gyms? Those are cool.

The one in the middle, of course is the half court line. The second one was used as the 10 second line when the offense was bringing the ball up. Once they got the ball over that second line, it disappeared and the over and back line was the half court. That’s old school.

Oh back in the old days. When I was in High School most of the gyms looked like that or possibly smaller. We had a few gyms that were bigger, but not many. I even played in a gym in Buckeye, Iowa with a round clock in the 70's.
