She’s insisting they re-open the store because she needs a last minute item from them. So the two workers are hiding behind the counter while crouching down so that she doesn’t see them. Chelsea have officially signed Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United for £40million. The fee makes Garnacho the most expensive academy graduate sale in United's history, eclipsing the £24.5m received for David Beckham in 2003. Gavin Newsom's new return-to-office mandate that takes effect today requiring most state employees to work in person four days per week instead of the previous minimum of two (for most state workers). They argue telework has proven effective and productive, adding the return-to-office mandate will increase traffic and add costs for everyday workers and taxpayers. On the other side, Newsom argues the return to office mandate will improve productivity and improve downtowns. SEIU Local 1000 says the demonstration also comes as its contract with the state has expired. No agreement has been reached for a new contract.
