When I do business in China I have to use their digital system and it is horrifying the censorship I must deal with including the digital monetary system. The Australian government digital system is exactly the same.Australians have no idea what they are walking into.

"It's not mandatory." But you can't be a Director of a company UNLESS YOU HAVE A DIGITAL ID. This is the same coercion they used with COVID. #WEFpuppets

Digital ID | Pauline Hanson's Please Explain Get ready for the Albanese Government to begin the hard sell of their new government-controlled digital ID system. Prepare for another round of "safe, voluntary, and effective" as they attempt to harvest your biometric information for their databases. And if you, like many sensible Aussies, want nothing to do with this Digital ID disaster, then brace yourself. This "voluntary" system will turn out to be anything but. Give it time, and you will see. So, support the series now before Albanese starts using his Digital ID system to track your online purchase history and lower your social credit score! The UK government's digital ID proposals triggered widespread public opposition, but a cross-party committee now claims the backlash stemmed from how digital ID was presented rather than the technology itself. "MPs believe that government may still be able to introduce digital ID successfully if it changes strategy."

My digital ID bill passed the committee today. This bill is to ensure statutory limits and privacy protections surrounding any digital ID programs, that government can't require digital ID, and that physical ID's remain the legal form of identification. In short, this legislation ensures that technology does not become a condition of participation in public life in Idaho.

🚨 DIGITAL ID PLAN COLLAPSING The government’s digital ID scheme appears to be unravelling. Originally proposed as a compulsory national system, ministers have now admitted it will instead be voluntary. Critics say the reversal exposes deeper problems inside the government, with growing signs that the Prime Minister is struggling to maintain authority over key policies. Supporters of the plan had argued digital ID would help tackle issues such as illegal immigration and fraud. Opponents counter that if the system is voluntary, it is unlikely to achieve those goals. What was once presented as a cornerstone policy now appears to be rapidly losing momentum.

It is being reported that Keir Starmer has u-turned on compulsory digital ID. Yet the Labour government has admitted that digital ID is not being abandoned. Instead, they are watering down the word “compulsory” while still continuing to develop the framework and machinery for digital ID. It feels like the Labour government are trying to take the heat out of the huge opposition to digital ID and instead, nudge it forward and engineer digital ID under the radar. This cannot be allowed to happen. No one voted for digital ID. Keep the pressure up and hold the government to account. As I discussed with Ian Collins | Talk
