We opposed many of the federal public health policies promoted during the pandemic and pursued a different approach for the state. When elected Governor, I will ask Dr. Ladapo to continue serving as Florida's Surgeon General. Byron Donalds has said he would evaluate whether to retain him (and we know what that means), while David Jolly has bragged he would fire him.
