EFFURUN/WARRI, DELTA: Sources on the ground have confirmed to Naija Confra that the ongoing clash between Vikings (DNKI) and Eiye (ACN) is happening in Effurun, not Warri. While Effurun and Warri share the same boundary and are very close, they are different places. The fighting between Vikings and Eiye reportedly started last week, with tensions rising especially around Jakpa Junction. At one point, Vikings even declared war on both Eiye and Aye (NBM). Some said it first started as a community issue before escalating to cult matters. Last week, reports indicated that some Eiye members were attacked, with one st@bbed whose condition remains unknown. Vikings were also attacked, leading to the recent attacks yesterday. Aye is said to not be dominant in the area since they lack the numbers, so most times they avoid trouble. Most of the violence in the area comes from Vikings and Eiye. (We obtained a video showing a man attacked some days ago). There are reports of de@th, but Naija Confra has not confirmed this yet. The PDP describes as barbaric and shameful that the APC candidate, Governor Hope Uzodimma could descend so low to allegedly sponsor a fake video against the PDP candidate in a bid to mislead the people of Imo State. The fake video, typical of “419” inclination only goes to confirm that Governor Uzodimma is in mortal fear of the popularity of the PDP candidate, Senator Anyanwu and had to resort to last minute underhand method in a failed attempt to get Senator Anyanwu out of the way. What is even more alarming is that the makers of this fake video are so criminally minded as to attempt to make Nigerians believe that it was a news production of the TVC.
