Firstly, they said that Aadhaar, Voter ID card and Ration card should be used. This should be welcomed. Now the question is whether the Election Commission will implement it or not. It is such a big irony that the Aadhaar with which your caste certificate can be made, which is included in the list of 11 documents, is not used for voter ID. The rise of AI technology and deepfakes pose a large risk to the financial services industry. The tipping point for Indian financial services businesses was when onboarding became completely digital, thanks to Aadhaar, etc. For businesses onboarding a new customer, an important aspect is ensuring that the documents and the person opening the account are real. The normal process that's followed today is to fetch the ID or address proof data from the source using Digilocker and or Aadhaar. Also, match the face from this ID proof with the person opening the account through a webcam. Today, we have a bunch of checks in place to check for liveliness and if the other person is real or not. But as the deepfakes improve, I think it will only become harder over time to validate if the person on the other side is real or AI-generated. This problem will be bigger for banks that have more stringent regulatory requirements during onboarding. It will be interesting to see how the regulations around this evolve. Going back to the physical way of opening accounts will bring the growth of the entire sector to an abrupt stop. And the video isn’t me; it is a deep fake. 😬

1474 DELETED voters were scrutinised by The Tribunal for the Phase 2 that goes to polling on April 29. Out of which 1468 have been cleared by the Tribunal and restored to the voter list. Thats a staggering 99.6%. That means nearly every person in that sample flagged and deleted under SIR Logical Discrepancy by #ElectionCommission was found to be a genuine voter. In effect, 99.6% of these deletions did not stand scrutiny. In effect, 99.6% times #ElectionCommissionOfIndia was wrong Yet, as #India watches #BengalElection2026, far too little attention is being paid to the deeper injustice: citizens removed from the rolls despite possessing valid documents, only to be forced into a legal battle to reclaim a basic democratic right. Meet Sanuyar Chitrakar. He is a #Muslim, has a passport, PAN, bank account, a house in his name - every valid document needed to establish identity. He has even brought pride to India abroad through his Patachitra art, earning recognition in foreign countries. Every document, every honour, identifies him as #Indian and reads his name as SANUYAR. Yet he was deleted from Bengal’s voter list. He couldn’t vote in Phase 1. The reason? In his Aadhaar card, a minor spelling error changed the “y” in Sanuyar to “w,” making it read Sanuwar. That single discrepancy was enough to override his passport, PAN, property papers, bank records, and a lifetime of recognised identity. The irony is brutal. Aadhaar was initially not accepted by the Election Commission for verification, and only after Supreme Court intervention was it allowed merely as proof of identity. But now, the same Aadhaar discrepancy has been used to erase a voter. So Aadhaar was not enough to protect people’s names on the rolls but enough to delete someone. Mega seizure of Aadhaar cards from Bidhannagar TMC office in Bengal. Hundreds of cards seized. This is how it works: 1. Illegal Bangladeshi intruder and his family cross the border and are welcomed by TMC politicians. 2. Before the TMC, it was the communist CPM that institutionalised this illegal immigration. Jyoti Basu was the biggest culprit - under him the CPM Govt drove away genuine Hindu and tribal refugees from Bengal because they didn't want Hindu voters. They only wanted Muslim immigrants. The criminal gerrymandering of Bengal was partly reversed via SIR by Amit Shah and the CEC with great difficulty. 7. Bengal was so messed up that it seemed an impossible task to delete Bangladeshi illegals from the state electoral rolls. If you visit his page, You see him making videos targeting Christians and Muslims while sharing his QR code asking for donations from Indian Hindus. During Investigation by Rishikesh Police, it was revealed that he had been living illegally in India since 2016 without a valid visa. To conceal his true identity, he had obtained an Indian Aadhaar card in the name of "Satyanitha Arya." SSP Panwar stated that the police team thoroughly examined the individual's documents and gathered more information. During the investigation, a Bangladeshi passport, which had expired in 2018, an Aadhaar card made with an Indian address, a mobile phone, a tablet, and other items were recovered from the accused's possession. The accused has been arrested by the police for the serious crime of illegally residing in India by preparing fake documents and hiding his identity.
