Some details from this scene I can't stop thinking about #projecthailmary 1. Grace was moving around brushing his teeth, listening to Stargazer and drinking coffee made by Armando so Rocky KNEW Grace was ready & just making him wait hence the loud ass KNOCK KNOCK KNOCKS 2. Grace seems to enjoy teasing Rocky and his little sing songy "I'm coooming!" makes me go crazy because his speech becoming more melodic seems like a sign that he's slowly becoming more Eridian (my theory) 3. Rocky also following all the earth culture rules Grace told him about - gone are the days of "where my bedrooom" because he was lonely af then and probably couldn't keep himself in check because he was SO EXCITED to have a friend after nearly 50 years of being along inside a huge spaceship whereas here? Rocky is home in his element so we get to see a more childish side of Grace this time 4. Rocky huffing and puffing about I MAKE DOOR YOU CLOSE DOOR as Grace continues to tease him 5. I really think Rocky was feeling the weight of the info he was about to share with Grace wrt Eridian scientists being ready to prepare the Hail Mary for journey back to Earth and he wasn't sure whether Grace will indeed stay back with Rocky :(
