Our new fare gates are getting installed at the West Oakland station. We have view cut-outs in the construction barriers so riders can peak at the work. Our General Manager stopped by to see the progress. He is holding a mechanical lock in this photo and crews are installing it.

This is sad reality that we are facing. went up to our shop and took a bunch of measurements of our actual press brake and fed it back to astra alongside > 1k bending jobs. took handful of back and forth prompting but now i can take a bending job that was generated from our press brake manufacturer's software, and reconstruct and replay it in our own internal software next step is to see if we can't skip their software all together and generate accurate bend programs ourselves. will unlock some interesting stuff if it works (it will)
