This is #GrainfromUkraine going to support World Food Programme operations in Nigeria🇳🇬. With Мінагрополітики UA we’re working hard to ensure that 🇺🇦’s grain production reaches those in need, because when the next food crisis happens, the world will continue to need #Ukraine!

The war in Gaza has left more than 2 million people entirely dependent on food assistance. From fresh bread in local bakeries to food parcels and cash-based aid, World Food Programme is scaling up life-saving support to reach those in urgent need.

Food from Ukraine goes beyond just export – it’s about agricultural resilience, innovation, and long-term partnerships. Since 2022, the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian programme has raised over $370 million and delivered food to people in need across 18 destinations. With support from 29 donor states, millions of people have received essential wheat, flour, sunflower oil, and pulses – all produced in Ukraine. Now, with Food from Ukraine, the focus is not only on delivering food for people, but on sharing knowledge, technology, and experience to help communities grow their own. This is how we build a stronger, more self-reliant world, together. #FoodFromUkraine #GrainFromUkraine

In Ukraine, World Food Programme delivers life-saving food to frontline communities while keeping emergency reserves ready for when they’re needed most. Watch how WFP’s warehouse in Odesa works to support the most vulnerable.

The ongoing fighting in Syria is expected to displace around 1.5 million people, says the UN World Food Programme. This is a breaking point for a food crisis in the country where 12.9 million people are already considered food insecure.

Ukraine recently sent 1000 tons of flour to Palestine within the #GrainFromUkraine program, supported by World Food Programme Good news is – it has already arrived in Gaza AND bread baked from this flour is being distributed to families in need. It will be enough to feed 100K people for a month

A month on, nearly the whole population of #Gaza is in need of food assistance. That's 2.2 million people. At World Food Programme’s Executive Board, I explained how even bread, the most basic food, is now out of reach for many. We must spare no effort to prevent families from starving.

SUPPORT FOR UKRAINE: Why are the grain ships still not departing Odesa in numbers? 👉It’s hurting Ukraine’s economy. 👉It’s increasing famine in Africa. 👉It’s significantly contributing to the cost of living crisis here. My Q. to the Head of the UN World Food Programme👇

Families in Gaza cannot access food, water & essential supplies. World Food Programme has provided 137,000 people in UNRWA shelters with ready-to-eat food & fresh bread, but need safe & unobstructed humanitarian access to reach more people in need.

Sudan: Famine conditions have been confirmed in Zamzam camp, in North Darfur, with other areas also at risk. World Food Programme is working to reach people in need, but humanitarians require safe & unhindered access to prevent the crisis from spreading.
