My 93 year old mother knows that there are 2 sexes, zero genders & 8 billion personalities. No one is born in the wrong body & it's ok to be gay. Stop gaslighting us Joanne & stick up for your sex. I don't give my consent to allow biological males into women's single sex spaces.

Your grandmother sounds like a sweet lady, but gender dysphoria is not something to take lightly and definitely should not be suggested as normal, especially to children. Sometimes tough love is needed to be heard in order to prevent people from harming themselves, not affirmation. I feel for these people too, but what if this woman is 14 yo again, what would you say to her to prevent what happened to her? P.s I like your videos bc you’re a cool person.

If individuals really just wanted the world to see them as they see themselves, maybe it wouldn't be a big deal. But they are DEMANDING that laws are changed and data markers are changed and it VIOLATES women's rights. So, respect to Grandma Ruby, but no.

My granny was the salt of the earth. She was kind, lived simply and was definitely true to herself. She definitely had her own mind. She had a gay son, uncle, who she loved and adored and visited him across country a lot. On the trans issue in these times, my granny would 100% say “do you take me for damned fool!”

I don’t think it’s being older that makes your Grandma lovely. I have met me many horrible old people in my days here on Earth. You first have to be a good person to be like her at 90

I have a similar story - Albertan RW son learns via tik tok that his future brother-in-law is a transgender man…he didn’t have a clue. It wasn’t a secret but I didn’t feel it was relevant to share. He calls and is very agitated. He was upset we didn’t think he’d handle 1/

You are a beautiful, strong and clever woman. It scares me to think how many young women like you are growing up in a culture that tells them they must be a man because of their interests, clothes and sexuality. Nothing is more homophobic and damaging to a young soul than that.

Your Grandmother Ruby sounds like my sweet Mother in law. We took care of her until her death at 98. We were so blessed to be able to do that the last 15 years of her life. I loved your answer.👍
