The issue with this situation is the fact that she said “while dancing with Carolina” and that in fact wasn’t true so yes he said that was a lie . And he’s so hyper fixated on the w/ Carolina part that he said it wasn’t true but again it’s all out of context and messy on Rose

Why would she interpret that as when he was with Carolina, he was thinking of me? And then go as far as to tell Carolina that herself. That's some mean girl ish. She wanted to make her insecure.
