The Cougar Collective was founded out of necessity. That necessity? To support a transfer QB from Incarnate Word. A QB with immense talent and relatively little fanfare who wanted to play for his former HC (now the WSU OC). A QB who asked for NIL support to help his sister’s AAU team go to out-of-town tournaments. So, a group of passionate alums pooled their resources, skills, and knowledge to get it done. Was it clean? No. Was it easy? Definitely not. Was it a necessity? Absolutely. Without the necessity to support Cameron Ward, the Cougar Collective is not what it is today. So, a heartfelt congratulations is in order for Cam, Calvin, Patrice, and the entire Ward family. You deserve this honor. Coug nation is forever grateful for your contributions and we can’t wait to see how far that Bachelor’s degree from WSU Pullman takes you!
