I prefer a medium burger, but these turned out closer to medium rare. And you know what? These were some of the best I’ve ever had. Thanks to Independence Ark Farm for the grass fed ground beef!

🔥 WOW! After going all-in on MAGA and MAHA, popular chain Steak 'n Shake's sales are reportedly SOARING — Daily Mail The chain went full grass-fed and grass-finished beef burgers nationwide, 100% beef tallow fries, cane sugar cola, Grade A Wisconsin butter and A2 whole milk It even has a Chief MAHA officer 👏🏻 Same-store sales reportedly surged +13%! A great American business. Every food company should be doing this! 🇺🇸

How many cows does it take to fuel a year on carnivore? 🥩⠀ ⠀ 📊 The carnivore math:⠀ ⠀ 2 lbs beef/day = ~730 lbs beef/year⠀ ⠀ Average cow yields 450 lbs edible beef⠀ ⠀ That’s 1.6 cows per year⠀ ⠀ Now compare that with vegan staples:⠀ ⠀ One vegan eats 400–600 lbs grains and veg per year⠀ ⠀ Mechanized harvesting kills countless field animals (mice, birds, insects, rabbits, fawns, etc.)⠀ ⠀ Estimates range hundreds to thousands of small animal deaths per person, per year⠀ ⠀ That’s not even factoring in the widespread use of pesticides on crops, which wipe out billions of insects + poison small mammals, fish, and birds⠀ ⠀ So which diet really minimizes animal suffering?⠀ 👉 Grass-fed carnivore: 1–2 large animals⠀ 👉 Vegan: Death toll spread across entire ecosystems⠀ ⠀ The uncomfortable truth:⠀ Eating grass-fed beef respects life more than a “bloodless” plant-based plate.

The toothless marketing claim "grass-fed" does NOT mean that the animals live their lives outside... 👎👎

More and more Zimbabwean butcheries are selling 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗳 — and if you have bought "Super Beef" recently that lacked flavour, this is why. 🥩 The process is simple: emaciated or older, grass-fed cows are put into fattening pens and fed heavy compound feed to rapidly gain weight before slaughter. While it boosts tonnage on paper, the end result on your plate is not great: 👉 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿: Rapid pen-fattening produces soft meat, but it lacks the rich taste of properly matured, range-fed beef. 👉 Fatty Offals: The offals from these cows are often laced with thick layers of soft fat and taste horrible. Until butcheries are required to label this meat properly, price remains your best indicator: If you see "Super Beef" selling for significantly less than 𝗨𝗦$𝟳.𝟱𝟬/𝗸𝗴, it is almost certainly pen-fattened cow beef. Have you noticed a drop in beef quality at your local butchery lately? 👇 #Zimbabwe #Harare #ZimBeef #FoodQuality #Agriculture #ZimLife #ShoppingZim
