After months of building and refining our infrastructure and giving the recent events withing the ecosystem, we realized that launching within an ecosystem fully aligned with our long-term vision would give RECC the visibility it deserves. We will set a new launch window immediately after migration so we debut cleanly on mainnet. StablecoinX Inc. StablecoinX has announced an additional $530 million capital raise as part of its $ENA accumulation strategy. To date, StablecoinX has raised a total of approximately $895M in PIPE financing, which is expected to result in a vehicle with over 3 billion ENA tokens on its balance sheet at closing. This enhanced scale enables greater access to additional institutional channels, broader investor and third-party coverage, and the capacity to hire top tier leadership. As with the initial PIPE raise, the cash raised via the PIPE will be used by StablecoinX to acquire tokens from a subsidiary of the Ethena Foundation. The Ethena Foundation subsidiary will initiate an approximately $310 million buyback program over the next 6-8 weeks via third party market makers, reinforcing the alignment between the Foundation and StablecoinX shareholders. The expected deployment rate of purchases is outlined in the section below this tweet, and is incremental to the buyback program from the initial PIPE financing transaction which has now been completed. As a group of Israeli immigrants focused on the Middle East, we would normally feel no need to comment on the NYC mayoral race, but this time, the candidates’ positions on Israel-Palestine are playing an undeniably large part. For this reason, we want to share, from our personal experience, what we know about Brad Lander‘s positions. Not from statements, but from actions. From the many times in the past 20 months that he has protested with us, calling, from the very beginning, for an immediate ceasefire and the release of all hostages. Upholding, from the very beginning, the humanity of both Palestinian and Israeli civilians. Many Sundays, Brad has stood with us and read testimonies from Gazans and from hostage family members. He listened with us to speeches by Palestinian and Israeli activists. He sang, cried and chanted with us - not only to end the war and release the hostages, but also for an end to the occupation of the West Bank and to the siege on Gaza and for a safe, equal, future for both peoples. He spoke at our October 7th vigil last year, and silently held up photos of children killed in Gaza with us last month. He is a part of our community, not as NYC comptroller, but as a human being. But before offshore accounts go public, I want to address a few points: Some might point out that - vPay isn’t the first crypto card - vPay doesn’t have the lowest fees - So why choose vPay instead of the Coinbase 🛡️ Card or MetaMask 🦊 Card or KAST or or Tria, or any of the other big names? Now to address: Privacy | The biggest differentiator that sets vPay completely apart is Private Banking. The majority of the crypto card providers on the market use Rain infra. Even if you’ve never heard of them, that's what your favorite "NeoBank" uses. And due to their legal jurisdictions, they will report your finances to authorities since they're CRS and FACTA compliant. We are not. As an OmniBank, we work with different banking partners, and although KYC is required to use our services, our offshore banks are non-CRS and non-FACTA. Tax reporting is the responsibility and choice of the user. Offshore Accounts vs Physical Cards | I've tried to highlight this a few times so far. vPay has 3 offerings on the banking side of things.
