Oversimplifying a complex issue. 200 years is much different than 20 years. Also, he didn’t get kidnapped from his neighborhood. He was SOLD by his neighborhood. And all those in the neighborhood knew exactly where he was and what they had done. And no one from the old neighborhood gives us ANYTHING. But they live off the work we did. Now what is the syndrome called that makes you sell your own damn ppl for trinkets?

You said the video was oversimplifying then YOU oversimplified it further.

Great analogy But why are these people infatuated with us being from Africa ? His analogy is 30yrs old we been here for over 500yrs None of our people recognize us as in his story Go back and do your research Then tell me which one of those Africans remember us

Terrible analogy. Because there was a 400 year time elapse. And I have absolutely no affiliation with those dudes

You all every do anything constructive? Seem yall only beef with Black Americans. How is that unity? BTW: The analogy used in the video makes no sense considering how long we have been removed from Africa. I bet that guy is not living in Africa but instead the "captor's house"

I’m so sick of this tether babble disguised as concern… They will try to shame us for claiming the home that we built all while living in the next room in the same house but we’re insane… smfh

Riddle me this why is our story the only true one that's told in America 😂 All these lies but black people from Africa story is the only true one?nothing to see here Even though we tried to change your name 30x, then gaslight you for never believing us

We gonna have to get a restraining order on these people at this point.

Dumb analogy. Only an immigrant thinks this makes sense. Left out so much , that it’s just gas lighting at this point.

That was a weak analogy. Even I know we were already here in America before Columbus, in addition to the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade that was an extension of the Spanish Inquisition of the Negro Kingdom of Judah.

Explain how a fucking kidnapped 4yr old slave is capable of building a house and how him meeting up with his own kind later in life that has done NOTHING FOR HIM yet to prove they relate because they share the same skin color? I’ll wait.

Africans are willing to do shit like this to escape from their motherland. Your focus should be on the third world and not Black Americans

Dear TikTok users, please avoid engaging with such behavior. This will reduce their visibility & engagement. The BLK 🇺🇸population was already in the region before colonizers arrived & exploited them. While some were enslaved, most BLK🇺🇸 people had lived here for centuries.

This is a terrible analogy. This logic would indicate that he entered the home alone and there wasn't a whole group of enslaved people that didn't look like him. Also it fails to mention the people the same people that "remember" him, sold him in the first place.

Fuck this analogy. We were here already. We don’t love white america. All skin folk ain’t kinfolk/ they depend on us but we don’t depend on them. Love or hate, every country in the world knows about black Americans

Horrible analogy. The nuance and intricacies aren’t addressed AT ALL! Plus, no mention whatsoever of said family KNOWING where we are at but never came to save nan “kidnapped victim” AND the “first home” CHARGES ME to come back…Nah, I’m good. 500 years apart my guy?! 🤦🏾‍♂️✌🏾

No its not because we have resisted assimilation so much we created our own culture Stockholm syndrome is wanting to flee your homeland to the place of your oppressor and deny a black Jesus while smearing on skin cream

Bad analogy, this isn't a twenty year old living in a built house, this is the descendants of that twenty year old living in the house about 200 years later, and they don't know or identify with his former people, because they've been separated from them for way too long

I would say the people from back home need to recognize when theyre not wanted, and respect that. It seems they are the ones with some compulsion because how many times can you tell someone to leave me the fuck alone before it's interpreted as conflict?

Terrible analogy, trying 2 simplify an Ethnogenesis w/ over 400 years of enslavement, #rape, Jim Crow, mass incarceration due to fake azz #war on drugs propaganda, no aid / backin from any other country. And we persevere through it all is way more complex to understand!

So much gaslighting here. What you need to do is talk to them immigrants and find out how much they loove them white folks. And that’s a mf problem. But your problem with a man who sees the writings on the wal along with other black Americans concerns you

Ok I get your analogy but what should you do when the same people that remembered you upon your return spent the whole time you were gone denigrating you and to add insult to injury knowing where you are knowing you've been kidnapped and never come and get you isn't that strange

Good story but that didn't happen the four year child rebelled and his/her offsprings burned the house down aka slave revolts

The problem is honestly is why dont Africans believe there were black people in america before they arrived? Black people literally colonized the world we were literally everywhere. Most of the black folk i know dont have a problems with africans unless they start talking about culture. Our black American culture shaped the world. You can be apart of it and from of it but when u start putting your nationality before the fight at hand while u are here is insane. If you are doing well do well. We are happy to see us make it thats how most of us see it. I cant hate u cause u are me. In my eyes and many others too but when u try to discredit who we are there is cause for concern. You all dont have a complete history of the land u came from because of colonizers lies. Some of u believe the white mans story more then we do. Just stay out of it. Some of us werent descendent of the black folks from africa but the ones who were here. If that makes any sense we are african by color but not all by location They found nappy headed negro looking h people living here matter of fact their were so many different phenotypes from east to west from dark chocolate to yellow bones red bones but yet all still “black” with deep roots and culture.
