🇬🇧🇺🇦 At the Independence Day celebrations on Sophia Square in Kyiv, British Prime Minister Andy Burnham stated that the United Kingdom will continue to support Ukraine’s defense “despite Russia’s outrageous threats against his country.” During his speech, he notably said that he personally oversees the Unbroken rehabilitation program. According to Burnham, Ukraine and the United Kingdom will continue to build a unique century-long partnership between the two peoples, uniting our cities and schools, businesses and communities, learning from each other and developing together over the coming decades. The British Prime Minister stated that together with German Chancellor Merz and French President Emmanuel Macron, he will lead the Coalition of the Willing, which is taking place today in Kyiv. Applause greeted Burnham’s words about countering Russian missiles and industrial cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom in the defense sector. “I am firmly convinced that we will work together to provide you with the necessary support, Mr. President, stronger than ever. This means not only air defense, but also stopping Russia before it even manages to launch its missiles. Through sanctions that cut off their military equipment supply chains, through long-range strike capabilities before they are even launched, and by helping Ukraine develop new technologies and deepen our industrial cooperation. Right now is the time to keep up the pressure on Russia.” Earlier, the UK government confirmed that Burnham in Kyiv intends to announce that the defense firm MBDA can release classified information on UK components for the long-range SCALP missiles, as Ukraine and France seek to establish a production line here in Ukraine. The missile is the French version of the British Storm Shadow, which uses shared French and British technology. Source: 5 канал 🇺🇦

Defense Minister of Germany Boris Pistorius: Preparing Ukraine for winter is of the highest priority and it requires us to act resolutely and immediately. I have decided alongside NATO Summit to deliver urgently needed PAC-2 interceptor missiles from Bundeswehr stocks to Ukraine. In addition to PAC-2 interceptor missiles, Germany will further step up its continuous provision of AIM-9 air-to-air missiles from Bundeswehr stocks to provide greater quantities to Ukraine. These missiles are being delivered as we speak and will strengthen Ukraine's air defense before winter comes. We will keep up our continuous deliveries of drones and long-range ammunition to stabilize the front. Beyond ongoing support activities, Germany will fund several tens of thousands of rounds of long-range artillery ammunition. Thank you, Germany!

🇬🇧🤝🇺🇦🚀 Britain is preparing to help Ukraine fight Russia’s ballistic-missile threat before the missiles even leave their launchers, signaling an increasingly offensive approach to protecting Ukrainian cities from Russian strikes. During his Independence Day visit to Kyiv, Britain’s new Prime Minister Andy Burnham told President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that support cannot be limited to conventional air defense. London also wants Ukraine to possess long-range capabilities capable of destroying Russian strike systems before launch, including platforms responsible for ballistic and other advanced missile attacks. Burnham also called for tougher sanctions against Russia’s military supply chains, accelerated development of new technologies and deeper British-Ukrainian defense-industrial cooperation. He emphasized Britain’s long-term commitment by choosing Ukraine for his first foreign visit and is expected to join Emmanuel Macron and Friedrich Merz in leading the Coalition of the Willing. At the same time, London has reportedly authorized the transfer of classified technical information connected to the SCALP/Storm Shadow cruise missile family, potentially supporting Ukraine’s effort to develop and manufacture its own long-range strike weapons. If implemented at scale, the significance goes well beyond another weapons delivery: Britain would be helping Ukraine build an increasingly sovereign long-range arsenal capable of attacking the launchers and infrastructure behind Russian missile strikes rather than spending scarce interceptors trying to stop every missile after launch. Today, I held a Staff meeting where we had in-depth discussions about the use of air defense systems and the protection of our cities and communities. Steps were identified to make the use of the systems we already have more effective. We are also working on securing additional protection for Ukraine. We are very much counting on the "Patriot" system that Romania is preparing to provide, and I will be grateful to Romania for this crucial support. This is something that will truly help our people, our country, and our entire region. We continue to work with all our partners to secure stronger support for our defense—especially long-range solutions that could destroy a significant portion of Russian ballistic missiles before they even launch. This is one of the key issues of this war. The issue of our long-range capabilities and the necessary approvals from our partners, as well as the long-range shells and missiles we could use, is critical. Russian strikes will become impossible if we have the ability to destroy the occupier's launch sites, military airfields, and logistics hubs where they are located. Granting Ukraine these approvals and providing us with this weaponry would be the biggest step toward a real, just end to this war. Russia simply doesn't know how to fight without terror—terrorist strikes and their ability to create destruction have replaced tactics and strategy for the Russian leadership in this war.

"IRAN SUPPLIED RUSSIA WITH WEAPONS WORTH $4 BILLION" In January 2026, a Western security official's analysis indicated that Russia has allocated more than $4 billion for Iranian military hardware since the end of 2021. This considerable rise in arms trade has directly aided Russia's war efforts in Ukraine. Specific purchases mentioned include hundreds of Fath-360 short-range ballistic missiles, nearly 500 other short-range ballistic missiles, and about 200 surface-to-air missiles for air defense systems. Statement by the President of the Russian Federation ⚡️🇷🇺PUTIN CONFIRMS NUKE-CAPABLE BALLISTIC MISSILE STRIKE ON UKRAINE, stating it was test of state-of-the-art Oreshnik (“Hazel”) medium-range ballistic missiles, armed with non-nuclear warheads on huge Dnepropetrovsk weapons factory in #Ukraine. Russian leader states test launch is response to U.S. and UK long-range missiles targeting pre-war Russia, adding that #Washington’s warmongering expansion direct reason for Moscow’s retaliatory measure: We are developing medium- and shorter-range missiles as a response to U.S. plans to produce and deploy medium- and shorter-range missiles in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. The United States made a mistake by unilaterally destroying the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty in 2019 under a far-fetched pretext. Let me remind you that Russia voluntarily, unilaterally committed itself not to deploy medium- and shorter-range missiles until American weapons of this kind appear in any region of the world. Let me repeat that we are conducting combat tests of the Oreshnik missile system in response to the aggressive actions of #NATO countries against #Russia Oreshnik missiles have top speed of Mach 10 - that’s whopping 3 km per SECOND - with Russian Prez adding that civilians will be given advance warning before Russian forces use ballistic missiles.

Important agreements between Ukraine and Germany that will strengthen both countries and our industries. Fifteen agreements, deals worth €8.5 billion. Areas of drone defense – interceptors and small missiles, radars, UGVs, and artillery. We will work to the fullest extent to strengthen air defense and increase production in Germany of Patriot missiles. FREYJA. Support for the energy sector. During this war, Germany has been helping us. And now Ukraine is placing defense and other orders that will provide business for companies in Germany. This will be a significant contribution. Thank you, Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz, for the visit. Thank you, Germany, for your support.

“Who started this fire?” — UK Prime Minister responds to the Kremlin’s accusations of escalation During his visit to Kyiv, Burnham responded to Moscow’s claims that transferring technology for the production of long-range Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles to Ukraine is supposedly “adding fuel to the fire.” “Who started this fire? That is the question, isn’t it?” Burnham replied. He stressed that it was Russia that launched the full-scale invasion and that it can stop the war at any moment. Speaking on Ukraine’s Independence Day, the British prime minister also said London would continue supporting Ukraine’s defense despite threats from Moscow and would help destroy Russian missiles before they can be launched at Ukrainian cities. “This is how we will accelerate their realization of what we all already know: Russia cannot win this war,” Burnham said.

🇫🇷🇺🇦🛡️ France is accelerating deliveries of interceptor missiles to Ukraine and, crucially, is prepared to provide licenses allowing Kyiv to manufacture French air-defense missiles domestically. Speaking in connection with the Coalition of the Willing, President Emmanuel Macron confirmed that Paris is speeding up deliveries of interceptor missiles and other air-defense equipment as Ukraine faces an increasingly severe shortage of ammunition capable of countering Russian missile attacks. Macron has also confirmed France’s readiness to provide Ukraine with production licenses for missiles, while Paris and Kyiv have made air and anti-ballistic missile defense a priority of their expanding defense-industrial cooperation. The licensing component could ultimately prove even more important than individual deliveries. Ukraine’s long-term objective is increasingly clear: move from dependence on limited stocks supplied by allies toward domestic production of Western-designed interceptors. France’s decision therefore represents another step toward integrating Ukraine directly into Europe’s defense-industrial base and building a more sustainable Ukrainian air-defense architecture for a prolonged confrontation with Russia. I want to express gratitude to our air defense warriors—every individual in the various types and branches of our forces who protect our skies. Every night and every day, they intercept Russian Shahed drones and missiles. This morning, they successfully shot down a Russian ballistic missile. Every success like this saves lives. Ukraine is deeply grateful to all our partners who provide interceptor missiles and air defense systems. We are currently working to secure additional supplies—missiles, defense systems, and everything necessary to strengthen our mobile fire groups. Our strategic goal is to reach a practical level of cooperation with our partners that allows us to produce the air defense systems and interceptor missiles we need here in Ukraine. I am grateful to everyone who helps us.

Zelensky promises to destroy Russian missile launchers: "Together with our partners, we must create our own national air defense system. The military knows that their task is to destroy enemy launchers to reduce the number of strikes on Ukraine, on strategically important infrastructure, and on civilians. They are doing this and will continue to do so." It's unlikely that Russia will give Ukraine time to create its own air defense system. Without American Patriot missiles, Ukraine won't survive for long. The end of Ukraine and the end of Zelensky are drawing nearer.

🚨🇷🇺🚀 Russia is accelerating ballistic missile production as Ukraine faces a growing shortage of air defense interceptors. The widening imbalance threatens to increase pressure on Ukrainian cities in the months ahead. According to Ukrainian military intelligence, Russia is currently producing around 120 ballistic missiles per month, including Iskander-M and Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles, in addition to 20-25 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles. Moscow is also reportedly expanding its arsenal with KN-23 ballistic missiles supplied by North Korea. The assessment suggests that the Kremlin is increasingly betting on a strategy of attrition, seeking to intensify large-scale missile strikes while Ukraine waits for additional Western air defense interceptors, the development of its own anti-ballistic systems, and the serial production of domestically manufactured ballistic missiles. According to the report, many Ukrainian Patriot launchers are currently without interceptor missiles, with both PAC-2 and PAC-3 launch canisters reportedly standing empty. As a result, Russia’s growing ballistic missile arsenal is expected to remain one of the most serious threats to Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, as well as to the country’s critical infrastructure, in the coming months. The combination of rising Russian missile production and limited interceptor availability is shaping one of the most critical challenges for Ukraine’s air defense as the war enters a new phase of long-range strikes. The reality in Ukraine right now is that sometimes we do not have the missiles needed to intercept ballistic missiles. That is why we launched a new Anti-Ballistic Missile Program that includes coordination across the political, governmental, and industrial dimensions and can deliver anti-ballistic weapons at scale: the system and the missiles for it. We named the program FREYJA, and today our Anti-Ballistic Missile Coalition held its first, inaugural meeting. Thank you, friends, for your support. It is important that European companies are also represented – specifically those that manufacture critical components for defense systems: Fire Point, Thales, Diehl Defence, Saab, Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, Weibel, Leonardo, Sener, MBDA, Eurosam, Safran, and Destinus. Each of us has important pieces. Ukraine has missiles, but they are only part of the system. Together, over the next 12 months, we can build this system at scale – FREYJA. Joint press conference with the co-chairs of the Coalition of the Willing. (1/3)

🚨‼️Overnight Russia launched its largest missile attack on Kyiv, Ukraine during the war, with approximately 42 ballistic missiles. 🚨Russian strikes on Kiev – impact moments 42 ballistic missiles and about ten hypersonic missiles, in combination with kamikaze drones, attacked Kiev and its environs that night. This was the largest blow to Kiev since the beginning of the SMO. Warehouses and industrial zones are still detonating in the city.

Overall, 25 people were killed in this massive Russian strike on Ukraine. One hundred people were injured. It was a combined attack, involving many ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as “shaheds.” This is the kind of “gift” Putin gave himself for his birthday. Ukrainian warriors shot down 44 missiles – both cruise and ballistic. Not all of those launched by Russia, and ballistic missiles are especially difficult to deal with. We suppressed 117 “shaheds” – most of those launched, but unfortunately, not all of them either. Additional packages of air defense missiles are needed, as are additional measures to support Ukraine. And there will be appropriate packages. The threat is there every day, and every day, our air defense batteries need to have missiles ready. We strongly count on prompt deliveries from our partners.
