AI has changed software engineering more in the last 3 years than it has changed in the previous 30. What’s needed is not a debate about whether it’s going away—instead it’s a serious discussion about its future: What are the new primitives, techniques, and best practices for software engineering in the age of AI. That’s why I brought Scott Wu (Scott Wu) on AI & I. He’s the founder of Cognition, the company behind the world’s first autonomous AI coding agent, Devin. Cognition got to $73M ARR in less than 2 years—and they just acquired Windsurf to accelerate their growth. I had Scott on the show to talk about where the programming goes from here. We get into: - What the new tools and workflows are for AI engineers. In the near term, Scott sees software engineering defined by a spectrum of tools. At one end are AI features that speed up coding, like tab complete; at the other are agentic systems, like Devin, that can take on tasks independently. Until engineers can operate entirely at the higher layer of abstraction, he argues, both are essential. - Why Scott thinks AGI is already here. By the benchmarks of a decade ago—passing the Turing test, solving hard math problems, and operating agentically—AGI is already here. The line keeps moving, he argues, because humans constantly redefine work around what machines can’t yet do. - Why developers will turn into product architects. Scott sees the long-term future of software engineering as a steady climb up the ladder of abstraction. Just as programming went from assembly to languages like Python and JavaScript, he thinks the future is humans focusing on the product, while AI agents execute. - How Devin stacks up against Anthropic’s Claude Code. Scott credits Claude Code’s success to great product design and the models becoming capable enough to support autonomous workflows. But according to him, the CLI itself isn’t the breakthrough, it’s how a tool fits into a developer’s workflow. Claude Code’s paradigm is that the AI is you, taking the wheel of your computer, he says, while Devin is like the engineer sitting beside you: it runs in its own cloud environment, manages the repo, and improves over time at testing and refining code. This episode of Every 📧’s AI & I is a must-watch for anyone interested in the brass tacks of how AI changes the future of programming. Watch below! Why Gavin Wood Stepped Away — and Why He’s Back Now In the 124th episode of When Shift Happens, I sat down with Gavin Wood, creator of Polkadot, founder of Web3 Foundation, and soon-to-be CEO of Parity Technologies, to talk about leadership, decentralisation, and the future of blockchain. Our conversation moved easily from protocol architecture to the nature of happiness, and Gavin’s central belief that the industry can return to its core ethos. In 2022, Gavin stepped down from his CEO role at Parity Technologies, telling me, “Running a company is a very particular skill set and it’s not something that I’m particularly skilled at.” His gift, he said, lies in “invigorating people” and getting them excited about projects, not in management or operations. Those responsibilities left little room for the deep thinking and architectural work he values most. “There’s a reason academics are left to their own devices,” he told me. “Stress really inhibits this kind of thought.” Over the next two years, he poured himself into JAM, a major evolution of Polkadot’s protocol design, and watched the architecture he’d envisioned begin to take shape. A few days ago, Gavin announced he was returning as CEO. This time, he says, the foundations are in place, the market is ready, and with Polkadot 2.0 on the horizon, it’s the right moment to lead one of the most important rollout phases in the network’s history. A Reluctant CEO, A Committed Builder Gavin has no interest in building personality cults. “Charismatic leaders have no place in crypto,” he said, arguing that protocols should stand on their own merit and be resilient to the presence or absence of any one figure. This belief shaped Polkadot’s governance model, which widely distributes decision-making power, even if the results have been “mixed” at times. It’s also why he created JAM — his vision for a “magic internet supercomputer” that tackles hard problems first. On Crypto’s Direction and Distractions Gavin didn’t shy away from critiquing the industry. From Ethereum’s Layer 2 approach, which he views as a “power grab,” to the rise of “fart coins”, he sees a space too often distracted from building real, user-centred value. Yet, his return signals optimism. “I’m very happy with JAM and the way it’s going,” he said. “This is actually one of the more fun times in my blockchain career.” Now, the focus is on aligning technical progress with market readiness and turning Polkadot’s architecture into real on-chain impact. The Broader Ethos Not all of our discussion was about technology. We spoke about the illusion of a free society, the importance of self-sovereignty, and the mixed blessings of wealth. For Gavin, true progress means building systems that empower individuals without forcing them to trust centralised intermediaries. And at the heart of it all is curiosity. “Curiosity fuels joyful living,” he said near the end of our talk. Whether in life or code, exploration matters more to him than titles or market cycles. As Gavin steps back into the CEO role, the challenge will be balancing a visionary architect’s mindset with the realities of scaling a global blockchain network. If our conversation is anything to go by, he’s returning with both the philosophy and technicalities needed to steer Polkadot into its next era. 👉 You can watch the full conversation on When Shift Happens on YouTube or listen on your favourite podcast platform.

🎙 Episode 1 Is Live: Visa x WeFi This is a major milestone for us. Our first official podcast with Visa is now live, and we’re opening with one of the most important conversations in modern finance: stablecoins and the convergence of traditional payments and crypto. The conversation features Alexandra Soroko, Growth Product & Partnerships at Visa, and Michael Batuev, Head of Global Payments at WeFi. 👉 This episode goes beyond surface level commentary. We explore how Visa views stablecoins not as a passing trend, but as infrastructure. While they still represent less than 1 percent of global money flows, their efficiency, speed, and programmability position them as a powerful new layer in how money moves globally. Visa has been observing and building in crypto since 2018. Innovation at that scale requires navigating regulation, technology, and multiple geographies. But when they integrate something new, it connects to a network of more than 150 million merchants worldwide. That scale turns innovation into real world access. A key theme in the discussion is convergence. Fintech companies like WeFi move fast, design around users, and ship quickly. Global payment networks bring distribution, resilience, and trust. The future is not about replacement. It is about combining strengths. Will stablecoins replace fiat? Unlikely. The strongest innovations coexist and enhance what already exists. Stablecoins can evolve into a powerful financial rail while remaining connected to established payment systems, making them usable in everyday life. At WeFi, we are at the forefront of this movement. By working within established infrastructure like Visa and building products designed around real user needs, we are helping bring stablecoins from theory into practical, global utility. Digital assets are no longer on the fringe. They are entering the core of global finance. Episode 1 is just the beginning. Watch now and be part of the conversation shaping the next chapter of payments 🌍

The Wise Ones Podcast Eps. 6 Shaw (spirit/acc) Creator of elizaOS | $MILADY.AI $ELIZAOK We present to you the sixth episode of The Wise Ones Podcast - Hosted by The Wisemen For this episode, we're sitting down with Shaw (spirit/acc). Fifteen years of building. Self taught out of San Francisco when the cypherpunk movement was still breathing and Silicon Valley was rewriting the rules of every industry on the planet. No formal training. No shortcuts. Shaw built ElizaOS, the AI agent framework that powered thousands of agents across Solana and became one of the most forked repositories in crypto history. 109,000 of you read the Shaw thesis. You made it the biggest article Wisemen has ever put out. Now the forgotten architect speaks for himself. You know how Wisemen operates. When we sit down with someone, it's not surface level. This is 75 minutes of the kind of conversation most podcasts will never get. Not just about the projects. About the mind behind them. How Shaw thinks. How he connects with crypto at its deepest level. How a developer who barely had the money to buy into his own token watched that position reach $25 million at an all time high, then rode it all the way down to $120K without selling a single coin. If you want to understand not just $MILADY.AI and $ELIZAOK, but the brilliant mind building them, this is where you start. In this conversation, we explore: - The real AI16Z origin: The DMT experience the night before launch. The ego death. The walk to meet the creator of Daosfun and the two words that sparked a billion-dollar ecosystem. None of this has been told at this depth before. - The $75 million betrayal: A co-founder who never wrote a single line of code deleted Shaw from the repo, sold the project, forged documents, and walked away rich. Shaw went into debt. Moved home. Then built Eliza. - From broke to $25 million to $120K: Shaw could barely afford to buy into his own token. A community member who believed in the project donated a massive share of supply to the team. That position reached $25 million at all time high prices. Then it fell to $120K. Shaw never sold a coin. What that journey actually does to a person and why he calls it both his greatest badge of honor and his biggest regret. - The layer one debate: Shaw gives his unfiltered take on Solana , Ethereum , and Binance Chain. Where the volume is. Where the builders are. Where it's all headed. No allegiances. Just a developer breaking down what he sees from the inside. - Creator fees and the new funding model: Shaw breaks down how he's using creator fees from Bags to employ developers and fund the entire build around his vision. No VCs. No raises. Just trading volume converting directly into the team that's writing the code. - $Milady.AI and $ElizaOK: Shaw goes into detail about exactly what he's building, how the developer network around him works, and the bigger vision behind the technology. We asked him directly if he believed Milady AI could become his biggest project ever. His answer is going to surprise you. - The culture war breaking crypto: Traders vs holders. Why Shaw believes the toxicity and rotation culture are killing the space from the inside. And what actually needs to change. - The message to builders: Shaw's words to every developer who lost money, lost hope, and is questioning whether any of this is worth it. This is the unfiltered story of one of the greatest AI builders on the Solana blockchain. A developer who did it at the highest level possible got completely counted out and became known as the forgotten architect. But he never stopped writing code. No hype. No script. Just the forgotten architect in his own words. We hope you enjoy. Dear ICP community, the Internet Computer has now been running strong for 5 years 👏👏👏 Here is a celebratory preview of ICP "cloud engines," the sovereign frontier cloud technology the network shall soon provide from Main points: — Cloud engines enable anyone to spin up their own sovereign frontier cloud. The technology involves an extraordinary inventive step, in which cloud is created from a mathematically secure network of nodes. The nodes run as part of the Internet Computer network ( but are selected and configured by the cloud engine's owner. — The frontier cloud provided by engines is strongly focused on enabling AI agents to build and update online applications and services for us. The world is changing fast, and nearly all new online apps and services are already being built with the help of AI, and thus cloud engines target the future of cloud. — Software hosted on cloud engines is tamperproof, which means that it is immune to infrastructure hacks, because it runs inside a mathematically secure network protocol, rather than on computers directly. This means that AI agents, and those building with them, don't need to have a security team in the loop, or to trust someone else's security team. This is crucial, because in the future, non technical people will demand the freedom to build with full automation — where they just need to issue instructions to AI about what to build, and don't need to worry about anything or anyone else. Of course, apps and services running on engines are also vastly safer from the new breed of hacker being enabled by frontier AI. (The cloud engines themselves are also "tamperproof." Even if a hacker gains physical access to some portion of a cloud engine's nodes, and can make arbitrary changes, the computations and data of the hosted apps and services cannot be corrupted or interrupted so long as the network's fault bounds aren't exceeded. The recent hack of Vercel, a major cloud platform, which gave hackers access to the apps it hosted, provides additional perspective on the importance of this advantage.) — Software hosted on cloud engines is guaranteed to run, so long as a sufficient number of the engine's nodes are running. This means that AI can build applications and services without the need to have a human systems admin team constantly tinkering with the underlying platform to keep it running, which is again crucial, because in the future, non technical people will expect the freedom to use AI to build without the support of others. — New frontier programming language technology, in the form of the Motoko language developed by Caffeine Labs, leverages seminal "orthogonal persistence" technology that unifies program logic and data to deliver further unlocks for AI (Motoko is the first computer language being developed that targets agents that are writing software rather than humans engineers per se). Nowadays, AI can build and update production apps at a prodigious rate, even at the speed of conversation. But it can also make mistakes, and there's a risk that an update it creates might be "lossy" in the sense it causes some transformed data to be lost. Again, in this new world, it's both undesirable and impractical for everyone to have to have a systems admin team on-hand to detect lossy updates and roll them back, but Motoko provides a solution: it can detect new software updates are lossy before they are applied, reducing potentially catastrophic errors by AI to harmless coding retries. — Software hosted on cloud engines is "serverless" but unlike traditional serverless software, directly it directly incorporates data through "orthogonal persistence." Another key purpose is simplify backend software logic and fuel the modeling power of AI by increasing abstraction (sorry for the technical language!!!). Put simply, this enables AI to produce more sophisticated backends, faster, and at dramatically lower costs, as measured by the number AI API tokens consumed during coding. (Tip for the technical: orthogonal persistence is a new paradigm where "the program is the database," and data lives inside program variables, which is possible because it's as if hosted software runs forever in persistent memory). — An expanding database of skills at shall make it possible to develop and directly deploy apps and services to your cloud engines directly from Claude Code, Perplexity, Codex and other AI platforms. Further, your account on can be connected, so that new apps and updates created through conversation automatically appear hosted from your cloud engine. In the future, R&D is going to be very seamless. You converse with AI, and your secure and unstoppable apps or services are created or updated. Cloud engines are designed to directly support this "self-writing cloud" future where we can work hands-free. — Tech sovereignty is becoming a huge issue worldwide, with governments and corporations seeking to create sovereign tech stacks owing to geopolitical tensions. Increasingly, people are realizing that tech provided by foreign nations can come with hidden backdoors and kills switches, from the base platform, right up through hosted apps and services. ICP technology is open source, and those building on ICP using AI own their own source code. When you have the source code, you can verify that there are no backdoors, and when you own the source code thanks to AI, you can update it at will, freeing you from vendor lock-in. But cloud engines take sovereignty much further... — You create a cloud engine by selecting the nodes that will be combined. You can choose the class of nodes used, and their number, but more importantly, you can choose who operates the nodes, and where they are located. Almost any configuration is possible, because the Internet Computer scales the security privileges afforded to hosted software within the network according to configuration (software hosted on cloud engines can directly interoperate with software on other engines and traditional subnets, but base restrictions are applied according to security rules). A cloud engine can be created within a region such as Europe, to comply with regs such as GDPR, or completely within a sovereign state like Switzerland or Pakistan. But cloud engines go further still... — Sovereignty is also about freedom from vendor lock-in. Cloud engines are essentially ICP (Internet Computer Protocol) network configurations, and this means the underlying compute nodes they combine can be swapped out without interrupting their hosted apps and services. This is a big deal. In addition, cloud engines now support nodes that are instances running on Big Tech's clouds, in addition to nodes that are dedicated specialized hardware, as per the Gen I and Gen II nodes that dominate the Internet Computer today. For example, it is possible to have an engine running across different AWS data centers, say, and then reconfigure the engine to run across a mixture of AWS, Google, Azure and Hetzner for even more resilience, without the users of hosted apps and services noticing a thing. That's true freedom. — Sovereign AI is becoming increasingly important too, and cloud engines allow special "AI nodes" to be added to them, so that hosted software can perform inference on hardware provisioned by the owner from a location the owner has selected. Even though the AI nodes are only accessible within the cloud engine, they can still benefit from the forthcoming Internet Intelligence Gateway (IG), which will make it possible to validate inference performed on key frontier open weights LLMs, even when the inference is performed on completely independent AI clouds. When the results of inference are received, this technology can verify that neither the prompt+context (input) nor the inference result (output) have been modified, and that the results were produced by the precise LLM expected. This ensures that AI clouds don't cheat by running inference on cheaper models than are being paid for, and bad actors aren't modifying the inputs or outputs to surreptitiously insert advertising into results, say, or change facts, or insert malware when code is being generated. What's super cool about this technology is the cost of the verification is scalable. A very valuable additional security can be achieved with only 1-2% of extra cost. — Scaling apps and services when they hit capacity limits is another thorny problem that cloud engines help the world address. Engines make scaling possible without rewriting or reconfiguring software. The query workload capacity of hosted software can be horizontally scaled simply by adding new nodes to an engine, and nodes can also be added in geographical proximity to demand. Meanwhile, update workload capacity can first be scaled-up by swapping an engine's nodes out for the next class up, and then when no larger class of node is available, horizontally scaled-out by "splitting" the engine into two, which doubles available capacity. (Technical tip: horizontally scaling update capacity by splitting engines requires multi-canister architectures). — For those who have been following how Caffeine builds apps that can efficiently store large numbers of files, I should mention that apps built on cloud engines will also support the new ICP Blob Storage cloud network (since cloud engines currently have up to about 3 TB of memory, which apps storing large amounts of files can easily exceed). We are also working on allowing blob storage nodes to be added to cloud engines, to enable sovereign mass blob storage within an engine, similarly to how AI nodes can be added currently. — Lastly, but certainly not least, I should mention that cloud engines are multi-blockchain capable, and ready for digital assets, thanks to the clever math at their core. For example, an e-commerce service built on a cloud engine can securely accept and custody stablecoin payments, or a multi-chain DEX could be hosted. Further, engines can support software autonomy (software orchestrated and controlled by other autonomous software, in a decentralized way) and can themselves be orchestrated by SNS technology, and thus run autonomously too. Today, though, the focus is on *mainstream* cloud. This year, the cloud industry will generate approximately one trillion dollars in revenue. That number is already huge, but is expected to grow to two trillion dollars by 2030. After years of continuous development, which have seen more than $500m spent on R&D, the Internet Computer network is now tacking directly toward this mainstream cloud market with cloud engine technology. In their first version, cloud engines are not meant to be a cloud panacea. For example, currently they are not ideal for working with big data. You should use something like DataBricks for that. Cloud engines are carefully targeted at enabling AI to produce traditional online applications and services, including SaaS, in a safer and more productive way, which represents a new market segment with tremendous potential. Of course, DFINITY will continue to work relentlessly to push forward ICP's capabilities, so expect further developments. It's worth mentioning that this cloud segment isn't just about creating new apps and services using AI, it's also about replacing legacy systems and apps built on super expensive SaaS services. Caffeine Labs is working to produce technology (Caffeine Snorkel) that can study an enterprise's legacy systems and app built on SaaS, create replacement systems and apps, and migrate the data, while supporting key stakeholders through the process over email and chat, with full automation. Thus the legacy systems and SaaS markets shall also be addressed by cloud engines. Zooming out, and reasoning in a more metaphysical way, we believe, as we always have, that there is room for a new kind of cloud created by mathematical networks, that provides seminal advances in the fields of security and resilience, as well as true sovereignty and freedom from lock-in. That this same technology, with the help of additional technologies like orthogonal persistence and Motoko, enables AI to build for us without the need for so much oversight, and to create more backend sophistication while consuming fewer AI API tokens, enables ICP to bring game-changing advances to the world. Cloud engines will work synergistically with the Intelligence Gateway, which will enable apps and services running on engines to seamlessly leverage AI, wherever that AI is running, while providing verifiability at extremely low cost for open weights frontier models. We believe that cloud engines represent an inflection point in the storied history of the Internet Computer project, and I'm very proud to be sharing the details with you on the network's fifth birthday 💪 I'll be back with more news soon!!

🌍 Dear Global Pioneers – Rise! Rise! Rise! This is the unstoppable spirit of our 3rd Global GCV Conference! We are here not just to hold another event, but to ignite a movement, to send a signal across the world, and to prove that pioneers are ready for the full OM of Pi Network. --- 🔥 Why Do We Need the 3rd Conference? The question is simple but powerful: Why this 3rd Conference now? This is our communication to PCT and all major institutions that have already joined Pi Network as stakeholders. And let me remind you—our communication is not through emails, not through formal channels. It is through telepathy of the heart ❤️. When the Core Team makes great progress, when they need the collaboration of pioneers, we can feel it deeply. Why? Because our hearts are clean, sincere, pure, and aligned with the Pi Network White Paper. Today, the PCT has already built the infrastructure. ✅ All the tests are done. ✅ I also get a confidential report regarding the code which includes Pi Network OM progress from an independent auditor. Now the question remains: Pioneers, are you ready? --- ⚡ Readiness Is Not Just Words Readiness is not about waiting to convert all your Pi into fiat the moment Open Mainnet arrives. That is not readiness—that is short-sightedness. Readiness is not dismissing the conference as useless. That is not readiness—that is ignorance. True readiness means: Supporting our conferences. Promoting them so more pioneers can attend. Standing together as one united community. Our goal is bold and clear: 10,000 pioneers live at the conference. 1,000,000 pioneers are watching the replay. Why such numbers? Because when institutions and the Core Team see pioneers united and educated, they gain confidence in our long-term support. And that will remove their biggest fear: the mass, short-term conversion of Pi into fiat. If pioneers behave short-sightedly, the Open Mainnet (OM) date cannot be determined. But if pioneers rise together, OM becomes unstoppable. --- 💡 The Mindset Shift We Need If you truly want financial freedom, you must understand this truth: Fiat currency is devaluing faster every day. Selling Pi for fiat too early is surrendering your future wealth. The real future is in utility, ecosystem, and long-term development. So why sell Pi for devaluing fiat when we are building utilities that will multiply Pi’s real value? This mindset barrier—this lack of education—is what delays our freedom. And that is why the GCV Conference exists: to educate, unite, and empower pioneers. --- 🚀 What Must We Do Now? Here is the action plan for every true pioneer: 1. Promote the conference video until we reach 10,000 live participants. 2. Encourage replays—help every pioneer watch and learn. 3. Invite pioneers to the International GCV Telegram group. Our goal: 1 million pioneers well-educated and united. 4. Support your country’s local GCV barter and spread the news everywhere. 5. Join Pioneer’s Handbook study—online or in your local group. Knowledge is power. 6. Repost and spread all GCV news and education quickly. Don’t just read—share! --- 🌄 The Summit Awaits Pioneers, we are almost there. The summit is in sight. But before we can stand on top, we must overcome the greatest challenge of all: our own laziness and inaction. The future does not wait. Pi Network will not wait. Financial freedom will not wait. The time to act is NOW. --- ✊ Rise! Rise! Rise! Focus on the conference. Focus on the video. Gain the power. Spread the word. We are the Global Consensus Value movement. We are the heart and voice of pioneers. We are the force that will make history. Together, we will rise. Together, we will prove we are ready. Together, we will reach the summit. Global Pioneers—Rise! Rise! Rise! Please take action now! Pass this information on from now! You are not working for me! You work for yourself! A Love Letter to Ferdinand Martin Romualdez | by Franco Mabanta Martin Romualdez, this episode is for you. And for every Filipino who believes that accountability should never depend on wealth, influence or power. For years, the powerful have operated under the assumption that the truth can be bullied, that free speech can be intimidated, that justice can be bought, and that public attention eventually fades. PGMN rejects that idea entirely. Today, PGMN CEO and founder Franco Cruz Mabanta makes his debut appearance on the Anchor Chair, in front of the camera owned by the company he built, for the most consequential statement of his life. In this deeply personal address, he touches the illegal extortion plot against him, the legal battle surrounding PGMN, the principles upon which the network was built, the multitude of untrue accusations, and the corruption issue that PGMN believes remains the single defining challenge facing the Philippines today. More than a response to recent events, it is a reflection on power, abuse, honesty, free speech, faith, and the future of a country still searching for justice from he who plundered what was not his. But before you watch, understand one thing. Do not judge this episode by the reactions of the bots. Do not judge it by the comment section swarmed by accounts created last week. Do not judge it by the trolls, the propaganda, the coordinated attacks, or the noise that inevitably surrounds any serious discussion about plunder, or the kind of greed that directly affects an entire generation, or WHY the Philippines cannot seem to rise above so many of its problems. Judge it by the facts. Judge it by the histories of those involved. Judge it by the actual recorded sequence of events. Judge it by the most logical motives presented. Judge by who you think are the more honest persons speaking. Judge it by the evidence. Judge it by your own investigation. Because when the stakes are this high, we all know that the wealthiest voices are not always the most truthful ones. What follows is far bigger than PGMN. It is bigger than politics. It is bigger than any one person. At its core, this is about whether public officials—especially those instinctively capable of real evil—can still be held accountable when the questions become difficult, the scrutiny becomes dangerous, and the consequences become life-or-death. It is about whether facts still matter in an environment flooded with false and malicious narratives, and whether ordinary Filipinos like us still have the right to demand answers from those we entrusted with power. To Martin Romualdez, we are making PGMN's position crystal clear. We are not backing down. We are not looking away. We are not changing course. You can hope all you want, Martin, for the collective national attention to somehow focus entirely on the senate wars or the energy crisis or the impeachment proceedings—praying to your daily demons that the people of this country turn our heads away from your superabundance of heinous crimes—but the facts remain clear: The Office of the Ombudsman has already referenced you as the “Master Plunderer”; the Sandiganbayan has already said on record that you are the “Purported Mastermind” of Philippine corruption; Boying Remulla has already denied any and all desperate requests from you to flee the country; the government of US President Donald J. Trump has already eviscerated your diplomatic and tourist visas; Mayor Leni Robredo and the Pinks are adamantly insisting on TRUE accountability; Vice President Sara Duterte and the DDS will never EVER forgive you for what you did to her and to them; and President Bongbong Marcos’ powerful/moral decision—not just to cut all ties with you—but to strictly forbid anyone at the Palace from speaking to you anymore, and in any capacity, has completed the metaphorical corruption kill-shot that the entire nation has long, long, long been waiting for. And now 120 million-strong demand to know, with the full weight of everything we are, what you did with OUR MONEY. Distract us all you want, but the questions remain clear. The public interest remains loud. And our commitment to pursuing justice remains explicit. PGMN was founded on the belief that no politician, no billionaire, no dynasty, and no public official should ever become so powerful that they are beyond scrutiny. That belief did not disappear when the pressure arrived. It did not disappear when the controversy intensified. And it will not disappear simply because the stakes are now at their highest. If anything, moments like these are the reason PGMN exists. It is the reason why the Peanut Gallery was built on the backs of real fighters. What follows is a story about accountability, government drama, insider secrets, censorship of the media, prison time, a renewed faith in Christ, resilience that became necessary, sincerity that hopefully cuts through the noise, and what it actually means to go to war for a beautiful idea called freedom of speech—all rolled up into one of the wildest David vs Goliath stories in modern Philippine politics, viewed from the lens of the most radical young media company that exists today. Above all, it is about the critical belief that the Filipino people deserve real justice—regardless of where the truth leads, regardless of who it makes uncomfortable, and regardless of whether or not the subject of that truth is a deeply powerful, historically treacherous man that goes by the name of Ferdinand Martin Romualdez. Watch until the end. Because not only is the conversation not over… The war between PGMN and the single most corrupt Flipino politician of the 21st century has only just begun.

**TOPIC #80: GCV IS CHAMPION! PI NETWORK IS CHAMPION!** Esteemed Global Pioneers, As we approach the six-year milestone, we anticipate a successful OM. It is noteworthy that CT did not achieve OM in the past three years due to their decision to wait for our successful OM. While the process of implementing OM may appear straightforward, achieving a successful OM is a challenging endeavor. Therefore, our three-year pursuit has been paramount, and we are now on the cusp of reaching our initial objective. From my analysis, I predict that OM will occur within the next 30 days, specifically on March 14th, 2025, as the prevailing universal energies are conducive to significant change. This prediction is supported by the numerical significance associated with Pi, which encompasses the digits 3, 1, and 4, same as our GCV identifier of 314. I have confidence that CT will undertake the necessary arrangements for this occasion. Consequently, we may receive the OM announcement at any time from today onward. This announcement ought to precede the official OM date, given that OM signifies a historic moment. Accordingly, we should begin planning a grand welcome ceremony. I take great satisfaction in observing the progress of our community. I would like to express my gratitude to Ms. Lumari and Mr. Jojo for their exemplary efforts in translating our Pioneers Handbook into 40 languages. I have observed a growing number of pioneers fostering a positive mindset toward the Pi Network and GCV. Furthermore, an increasing portion of pioneers are assuming responsibility as Pi owners, diligently working to safeguard both the Pi Network and GCV. I extend my sincere appreciation to the GCV Ambassadors, GCV warriors, pioneers, and merchants—your combined efforts are fundamental to the success of the Pi Network. It is through your contributions that we are poised to realize our OM in Q1. I would like to take a moment to recognize the exceptional contributions of Mr. Kosasih and Mr. Dimas Nawawi in relation to the Pi Network and GCV. Mr. Kosasih’s extensive professional background and his code available on GitHub provide a comprehensive framework that includes various configurations for the Pi Network, such as API, node, PiBank, DaoMall, PiNexus, and PiFinance Core, among others. Although we currently do not have official announcement detailing Mr. Kosasih’s background, we should be very appreciative of his tremendous contributions. GCV has already established its success. The membership status of Mr. Kosasih in CT is not important; what is vital is that GCV will proceed with an OM that features a stable coin valued at $314,159. The likelihood of Mr. Kosasih’s GitHub code being adopted by PCT is high due to its inherent value, and I believe it aligns with all of PCT's expectations. His association with CT is inconsequential; he can also contribute as an independent contributor within the Pi Network. As long as his code maintains significant value, it will certainly be utilized by PCT. Regarding Mr. Dimas, he consistently dedicates his efforts to explain the GitHub code. I deeply appreciate his commitment and professionalism in clarifying both GCV and the code to our pioneers. His strong background in programming enables him to effectively explain Mr. Kosasih’s code. His steadfast belief in and passion for the Pi Network and GCV are evident in his tireless work to support our community. Moreover, he has successfully persuaded many pioneers who were initially opposed to GCV to reconsider their positions, thereby preventing a significant number of pioneers from selling their Pi. We function as a cohesive family, inclusive of GCV education ambassadors and ecosystem development ambassadors. There is a need for the establishment of Technology GCV ambassadors. Our extensive community collaborates to facilitate the success of the Pi Network. To all Global Pioneers, we are nearing OM; it is not allowed to sell your Pi, as doing so may jeopardize your entire account. I receive daily reports from pioneers who have fallen victim to scams while attempting to sell their Pi. They end up losing the Pi they sold, and the buyers subsequently block them, failing to provide FIAT payment. We are on the verge of achieving OM, with a stable value of $314,159 per Pi. Unfortunately, pioneers who choose to engage in sales not only forfeit the Pi they sold but may also have all the Pi in their wallets confiscated, and their accounts could be frozen for 100 years. This is serious. I've noticed that many Pioneer accounts have had their Pi removed and are now frozen. I urge all Pioneers to support each other. Please encourage your peers to review the Pioneers Handbook and share Mr. Dimas's code to help build their confidence in the Pi Network and GCV. By taking these actions, we can facilitate the transition of millions of pioneers from poverty to prosperity. This approach will also assist CT in accelerating the migration process when they observe a decline in Pi sales. We are pleased to announce that Malaysia and the Philippines will host carnival dinners for 1,000 pioneers to celebrate the arrival of OM soon. I encourage you to consider similar initiatives within your own communities. I believe that in the coming days, we will ascertain the OM date, and I strongly encourage your communities to organize gatherings or events to celebrate this significant occasion. Last year, we held four International GCV Conferences in May and June, paving the way for today's victory. These pivotal conferences united GCV warriors and leaders from around the world. Through these conferences, we earned the trust and support of global pioneers in GCV and our Global GCV CT, leading to the creation of the GCV Ambassadors system in nearly 100 countries. Today, Let's celebrate by watching the video from our last 4th conference and the poem that inspired us. Let’s express our heartfelt gratitude to all GCV warriors. Together, we have finally reached our goal! --------- After all this time Our journey together Has led us all To unite under a common goal The journey started off lonely But now…GCV has blossomed And it’s thanks to everyone’s collective efforts Be proud! You have weathered through the storm Your efforts have paid off And GCV couldn’t have achieved this without you It has been an amazing and arduous journey But we didn’t just survived We thrived! And it’s thanks to all of you! We are champions! GCV is a champion Pi Network is a Champion Many thanks to The Global GCV Core Team Our current journey ends here, But this doesn’t mean goodbye We will still be connected Building a brighter future And remembering this journey for years to come Never forgetting the friends we made along the way Never forgetting the future we want to build For ourselves And for future generations A future that encourages Diplomacy Win-Win Solutions And Connectivity None of this would be possible without GCV pioneers Thank you! 1/ One thing I learned from Lyron during this conversation about Seismic was the importance of discovering a key insight, first hand, from experience, which led to the creation of Seismic Systems. Listen or watch this episode and you'll see what I mean. Summary In this episode, Lyron Co Ting Keh, co-founder and CEO of Seismic Systems, shares the story behind their recent funding round and what Seismic is building—a blockchain platform for encrypted financial services. Lyron explains how the current financial infrastructure still meets the minimum bar for most users, but fails to serve more sensitive or complex needs, especially around B2B lending and credit. He talks about how Seismic is tackling fragmentation in crypto, offering a unified and encrypted environment that can support native applications and allow for meaningful experimentation. Lyron reflects on the importance of deep user research, how his background in AI influences Seismic’s design choices, and why long-term thinking is essential when building in crypto. He also outlines their roadmap, the role of the community, and how Seismic plans to empower underserved small businesses. Takeaways — Seismic focuses on high-sensitivity payment flows, bringing encrypted financial services on-chain. — Most existing systems are “good enough,” but don’t meet the needs of more complex or privacy-sensitive users. — A major problem in crypto is fragmented encryption—Seismic aims to solve that by unifying the environment. — The team is building native apps from the ground up, informed by deep user research. — Fragmentation in crypto complicates order routing and transaction execution. — Seismic targets the SMB lending market, which is underserved and inefficient. — Crypto provides structural advantages for underwriting and loan distribution. — Seismic’s model includes incentivizing developers and users in differentiated ways. — Community engagement is core to Seismic’s long-term strategy. — Lyron draws inspiration from AI and emphasizes faster iteration and feedback loops. — The roadmap includes beta testing, developer incentives, and a full mainnet launch. Scientific discovery is reaching the limits of human capacity: too much data, too many disconnected fields, and too few ways to connect ideas fast enough to matter. The next breakthroughs in materials, medicine, energy, and beyond will not come from scaling today’s AI paradigm alone or from relying on serendipity alone. They will require a new kind of AI for knowledge discovery that not only models the world but shapes what it could become. At Unreasonable Labs, we are building superintelligence for knowledge discovery: systems that reason across disciplines, generate novel hypotheses, test them through simulation and experimentation, and help guide real-world discovery. Our AI engine is not confined to what it has seen in training. It creates new data, builds new tools, and maintains a persistent world model that grows more powerful as it reasons. Why now? Even today's most powerful AI models face a core limitation: they are trained on what we already know. True discovery begins when a system encounters something its current model cannot explain. This is why you cannot train your way to a discovery - a system has to reason through new problems, update its beliefs, and revise its understanding of the world as it thinks. Another critical insight is that rich knowledge already exists, but is not yet applied to solve pressing problems. It sits in millions of papers, patents, and datasets, trapped in isolated silos, often in legacy data vaults. What's missing is a way to connect it, scale it, unlock the potential, and synthesize genuine novel predictions. The time is now to build a system that enables practitioners to design, explore, and direct discovery, whether through human guidance or full automation, while capturing the tacit insight that domain experts bring. Steerable reasoning That is why we built an operating system for scientific discovery - one that replaces chance with steerable reasoning. Rather than retrieving static facts, our AI builds and continuously updates a living world model - a representation of knowledge the system can actively reason over, question, and revise. A concrete example: say you want to create "smart concrete" that can flex - a concept that doesn't exist yet. Our AI maps relationships across domains, finds a path from morphable smart materials to concrete, and identifies the most efficient way to bridge those concepts. It then autonomously writes simulations, tests the hypothesis, and refines the idea. Then it interacts with hardware to produce a physical artifact, and the loop expands into the real-world, where the machine becomes world-shaping. Our AI gives users full visibility into how the system arrived at a conclusion. It delineates which existing patents and papers it drew upon versus what is genuinely new - protecting IP and competitive concerns from the start, and offering deep compositional insights into technology advances. It takes unreasonable people to make progress Our team reflects the interdisciplinary expertise required to build this next breakthrough - my co-founder Yuan Cao Yuan Cao (formerly DeepMind) and Andrew Lew, Haiqian Yang, Matt Insler, Jennifer Kang and Julia McLaughlin. We are backed by $13.5M in seed funding led by Playground Global with participation from AIX, E14 Fund, and MS&AD. We are guided by advisors including Robert Langer (1,000+ patents), Kostya Novoselov (Nobel Prize in Physics), and Thomas Wolf (Co-founder of Hugging Face). We already have multiple pilot programs underway with leading industrial partners in materials science and engineering, with additional engagements developing across energy, logistics, bioengineering, and other strategic domains. The biggest challenges of our time - fusion energy, sustainable materials, new medicines - demand exponentially more innovation than humans alone can produce. We are not replacing scientists, and instead are making every scientist capable of leading their own team of AI-powered researchers. Abundant innovation leads to abundant prosperity. Watch our launch video below to see what we're building Unreasonable Labs 👇

When I was 8 years old, growing up in Taipei, I called my aunt in San Francisco and asked: What is the best science and technology school in the world? She said MIT. I went on the internet, found it, and decided that was where I was going. All because of a Steven Spielberg movie about a little robot boy who wanted to find his mom. I grew up as an only child. What stayed with me from that movie was not just the technology. It was the possibility that one day, an artificial companion could understand how I felt. That was the first time I remember being moved by a technology that could change how humans experience reality. Years later, I did get to MIT. I studied AI before it became obvious. I became a machine learning engineer, built my first company, joined a $3.5B VC fund, left to build again, failed, started again, moved to New York alone, and built through one of the hardest crypto markets as a solo founder after the collapse of FTX. I kept going because I have always been drawn to technologies that change how humans understand the world. AI was the first version of that. Crypto and prediction markets are the next. I believe the future I am building toward is inevitable. The only question is whether I get to be one of the people who helps realize it. That future is a world where markets become information-first. The old model of trading was asset-first. It rewarded people with capital, financial education, institutional access, and better tools. But the next generation of markets will be shaped by information flow, narrative, attention, politics, culture, sentiment, and collective belief. Prediction markets make this shift obvious. They are one of the first asset classes where the value is informational, not purely financial in the traditional sense. Your edge does not have to come from technical analysis or a traditional finance background. Your edge can come from knowing something before it becomes consensus. From seeing reality shift before the market prices it in. Someone with firsthand knowledge of an unfolding event can have more alpha than an institution with a much bigger balance sheet. They turn belief into price. But price alone is not enough. Polymarket shows what the market thinks will happen. ARES is built to understand why the market is changing. We are building an information-first trading platform for prediction markets and other narrative-driven assets. One that does not just show traders what is moving, but helps them understand why odds are shifting, why narratives are forming, and why the future is moving in a certain direction. But the bigger vision is not just a better trading terminal. We want to turn every trade into an information object. Every position can become a piece of content. Every market view can become a signal. Every trader can build a reputation around conviction and accuracy. Most feeds rank information by engagement. Who got the most likes. Who already has the biggest audience. Markets allow us to rank information differently. How much are you willing to stake on what you believe? How often have you been right? That creates a fundamentally different kind of media feed. One powered by conviction, track record, and market incentives. One that becomes harder to fake. One that can help people understand not just what the market thinks will happen, but why reality is changing. I also believe prediction markets are one of the few markets where humans can still have a real edge over AI. AI knows what is already on the internet. But humans experience reality before it becomes data. We see things before they become headlines. We hear things before they become reports. We feel shifts before they become consensus. If those signals can be priced, organized, and made legible, then more people can gain access to financial opportunity, information agency, and power. That is what Ares is building toward. I spent years watching founders from the VC side of the table, always thinking: I wish that was me. Now it is. I talked about this journey and the thesis behind Ares in my conversation with Dmitry on Predict Time If you are building, trading, investing, or thinking deeply about prediction markets and information markets, I would love for you to watch it. And if you want to collaborate on what we are building, contribute to the vision, or join the team, we are always open to exceptional people across functions. DMs are open.

Bill Ackman says AI is never going to replace musicians. His reasoning is a masterclass in how he actually picks companies to invest in: 1. He looks for one thing: businesses that cannot be disrupted. The test is specific. Close your eyes, imagine the stock market shuts down for a decade, and ask whether you still know that ten years from now this company will be more valuable and more profitable. Almost nothing passes. 2. Very few businesses can actually be predicted, which means most investments are really speculations. Ackman is honest about this. Predicting the future is genuinely hard. His entire job is hunting for the rare companies whose trajectory you can forecast over a very long horizon, and there are not many. 3. His answer was Universal Music Group, and the logic starts with permanence. Music is a thousands-of-years-old part of the human experience, and it will still be here thousands of years from now. That is an unusually good backdrop against which to own anything. 4. Then he stacks the advantages that cannot be copied. Universal owns roughly a third of all global recorded music, the most dominant share in the business. They are the best in the world at taking an 18-year-old with a great voice and a following online and building them into a superstar, which is why the best artists want to sign with them. And they own the library: the Beatles, the Rolling Stones. 5. Streaming turned an unpredictable business into a predictable one, which is exactly what he wants. Selling records was volatile. Streaming lets you build a model. How many people have smartphones, how many will next year, what does the global penetration curve look like, what does a family plan cost. Suddenly you can forecast the whole business. 6. The company already survived the thing that nearly killed its industry. Music peaked around 2000, and then Napster and digitization almost destroyed it. Universal led the effort to save the industry and cut an early deal with Spotify that let the whole business recover. Adopting the new technology instead of fighting it is what preserved their position. 7. The device will change, and it won't matter. Whether the music arrives through Spotify, Apple, Amazon, or eventually a chip in your head, people will still want an infinite library in their pocket. The form factor is not where the value lives. The value sits with the content owners, which means the artists and the label. 8. And this is where he lands on AI: nobody falls in love with a computer-generated track. Computers have been used to generate music for decades. It has never produced anything anyone cared about. Taylor Swift is not just the songs. She is the artist, the story, the physical presence, the live experience. Nobody is going to get excited watching a computer on a stage. 9. Instead, AI becomes a tool that makes artists better. Ackman compares it to the synthesizer, which let one person command an entire orchestra. A mild threat to a percussionist, maybe. But it may have driven even more demand for the live experience, which is precisely the part a machine cannot replicate. 10. All of it comes back to one line from Benjamin Graham. Price is what you pay, value is what you get. You can never calculate value precisely, only approximate it. So you buy at a big enough discount to your approximation that being wrong by 30% still leaves you fine. That is the margin of safety, and it is why a huge part of investing is simply not losing money. 11. And the principle generalizes far past music. McDonald's is a 1950s business, and 75 years later you can still predict roughly what it looks like. The menu adjusts to taste, but the core does not move. As Ackman puts it: the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and the hamburger and fries are forever.
