"great design is invisible" when explaining this concept to non-design minded customers, I often show them this from Linear. it's just a wonderful example of thinking

Yesterday I was giving a lecture at University of Washington. I saw that copy-paste design from Figma Make to Figma Design dropped, and tried it for the first time in front of about 300 students. The crowd went wilddddddddd with applause when it just worked!!!! This is what I showed them:

We wanted better design fundamentals from our agents. So we fed them this 162-page pdf on designing with a grid system. Now our agents use code to adhere to a grid and design beautiful layouts. Example + skill below 👇

I gave the new Meta Muse Spark model a bunch of assorted assets and it was able to carefully extract them and place it into a functioning app. I've never seen something with a clear intuition for design and product-first thinking. This is the first AI that *gets* UI design.

I just created this entire motion design video with MiniMax H3… and the result is INSANE. 🤯 The kind of sequence that normally looks like it came from a full motion design studio. And the best part? This is now possible with Unlimited #MiniMaxH3 on Runway

Not even joking when I say, I’d rather them stop any new games and just remake the Sims 1. They can by use this trailer as a design target with a bit of modernisation to bring it up to speed.

Replit just launched Replit Design. Designing an app is one of the hardest parts, and AI often creates designs that all look the same. I like that Replit Design works like a design partner, helping you create designs that feel more unique and fit your app better. Now anyone can be a designer, not just people with design experience.

A quick recap of what I experimented with Claude Design in May: ✧ Use a mood board to define the look & feel ✧ Add animation + interaction to level up the design ✧ Generate an image of my vision, turn it into an interactive prototype ✧ Claude design is great at graphic design More to explore in June ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆

#Aylio #政瞳 Teacher ji: "This is a co-branded design of mine.. I didn't promote this much, bcz it’s a co-branded piece I released in collaboration with a brand. I designed & drew all of these myself, just to give to some friends around me" So this is gift to Aylio from teacher ji. Our captain indeed...

I honestly didn’t expect this part of the AI design workflow to work this smoothly. Turns out GPT-6 Astra + Dreamina Seedance 2.5 is an actual pipeline. I started by creating a poster concept in Dreamina. The image looked finished, but I wanted to edit the individual elements instead of recreating everything. So I gave the poster to GPT-6 Astra and had it call Photoshop to separate the design into editable layers — background, text, objects, and visual elements all became independent pieces. This is the part that surprised me: AI doesn’t just help make the design anymore, it can help turn the final image back into a real design file. Dreamina makes exploring different poster concepts much easier with its competitive pricing, then Astra helps take them into the editing stage. #Dreamina #DreaminaPartner

This 15 seconds of Return of the Jedi is just so delightful. Some of the best miniature work in the saga, amazing costumes, the forgotten Rebel Fleet motif, oddly doc-style camera work, awesome set design– it's all really wonderful.

We call this feature the Graphic Design Generator. To make your own design, just set up a frame, position your text and elements exactly where you want them, type in a prompt, and hit ‘Recraft.’ Voilà — your design is ready! Try it out here: #RecraftAI #red_panda #GraphicDesignGenerator

The final play of the Oklahoma-Alabama could have been a better play design — a play design, that in my opinion, would have a higher chance of being converted. Here is video explaining my logic: *I would love to hear you guys’ thoughts*

Functions are Vectors This is a great blog post from Max Slater about how viewing functions as infinite dimensional vectors unlocks powerful tools from linear algebra. I think this is an under-emphasized perspective in intro linear algebra classes.
